This seems like a place for individuals who want the city lifestyle without being in the city. The food was just ok. I understand fusion, but this is a different spin. Almost everything has some type of sauce that is a vinegar base all different types of vinegar but vinegar none the less. We ordered 5 items, and we only received 4. Each item came out about 15 minutes apart from each other, so over the course of an hour we got 4 small dishes that were extremely overpriced; $18 for two small tacos that were smaller than the palm of my hand is a lot of ridiculous. Just unsatisfied overall. I spent over $150 on two drinks and four small apps, left hungry and stopped at McDonald's to at least satisfy my hunger.

It was SO delicious! Our waiter was so great and very attentive. The manager was helpful and attentive as well. I haven't been to Barrio in a a few years, because they didn't have great vegan and gluten free options. NOW they do and they were AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back! It was my birthday and they were incredibly kind and gave me a birthday card and gift card, which I was not expecting. It was such an awesome gesture and I will go back for the food, yummy drinks and great service!!!

Margaritas were Super! We had Nachos and a kind of spanish ham for starters. Very good! Chicken and pork tacos were alright but a little dry. The drinks are great and the dishes are very interesting so we'll go back again.

I am So happy to have found this place! The original place we wanted to go was closed so I googled Gluten free and this popped up! It has tons of options for gluten and dairy free clearly labeled and the servers and chef were so knowledgeable. I felt safe eating here and the food was delicious!

The menu is limited, but every dish we tried was delicious. We visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the happy hour menu, ordering most of our dishes from there. The service was excellent, and the tostada with different sauces and guacamole was a standout. The gluten-free tacos were also flavorful and satisfying.
Sat at the Chefs table. Got to watch the workings of the food prep. It was like watching "The Bear". Very entertaining and a great time interacting with the staff. all were engaging. We got to see future dishes we will want to try on our next visit. Our waitress was very helpful, and her recommendations were great. Awesome margheritas. Loved pork tacos. We will return

There has never been an instance where I walked into Barrio Costero and walked out unhappy. The food is awesome, the drinks are plentiful and the staff and management treats you like family. They have a million special chef events and vegetarian options. The menu thoughtfully changes constantly…I go here at LEAST once a week and don’t plan on changing that anytime soon!

One of my absolute favorite places to go. Date night, taco Tuesday, night out with friends? I’ve done them all here. The staff are always friendly but also extremely knowledgeable. They all seem happy to be at work. The menu is always evolving and the food will actually wow you. I can’t say enough about it here!

This was my second trip to Barrio Costero. My first experience was sitting at the bar, drinking wonderful margaritas and sampling menu items. This time I asked a group of 3 to join us for dinner. The experience was less than stellar. The menu tries to be trendy, but it's just pricey with little variation. The quality of the food just okay. My dinner party was hard-pressed to find items that piqued their interest. When the food arrived they had duplicated my order and neglected to place the order for one of my guests. When this was mentioned to the wait staff, the correct entree was given to my guest AND we were charged for the duplicate item that we didn't want or need. I feel like Barrio Costero is trying to be trendy, and it isn't working.
