I wish I can give Beach Bar a ten star this place is such a vibe! The service, the music, the drinks amazing and then you get that beautiful view, what more do you need. It’s always a great time at Asbury Park beach because of beach bar.

I wish I could give this place zero stars I was assaulted, slammed to the ground and the security guard put his knee on my chest I couldn't breathe I have severe asthma and heath problems and nobody helped me not a good place to go be careful they are unhinged

I had the pleasure of being served by Ana during a packed evening and she was incredible. She remained calm, composed, and professional during the rush hour. It’s impressive how she made everyone feel seen and taken care of, no matter how busy it got. I recommend stopping by if you’re looking for amazing service, good vibes, and sensational food+drinks. Ana’s experience and passion speak volumes for what she does.

usually every time im here i have an exceptional experience - great bartenders, security, dj, vibes etc. however when i was there on friday they had a really nasty bartender named anna i think? i’d never seen her before that day. i ordered a lemon drop shot w a lemon slice and she looked at me like i asked her for the craziest thing in world. she scoffed and said “ok wait a minute” and she continued to do other things. she then came back and asked “what did you want?” and i repeated a lemon drop shot w a lemon slice. she made it (horribly btw) and handed it to me w no lemon slice so i asked for it again where she again scoffs and says yeah but never gave it to me lmao. then my friend who was directly next to me wanted to order and she made a passive aggressive comment to the bar that if we’re together than order together. girl you didn’t even look at him once while he was standing at the bar w his card out? you’re literally a bartender your job is to service everyone at the bar …. i tipped her but wish i didn’t. left as soon as i took the shot (again … horribly made) she ruined the vibe

I had a very disappointing experience at the beach bar yesterday. I approached the bar to order a drink. The bartender, Nick, ignored me for an extended period, serving other customers who arrived after me. Despite this, I decided to tip him 25%, hoping it might improve the service.
Later, when I returned to the bar to get another drink, Nick once again ignored me and prioritized other customers who came after me. When I finally managed to get his attention, he bluntly told me that better tips result in better service. This statement left me feeling insulted and undervalued as a customer.
As someone who believes in supporting local businesses and typically tipping well for good service, I was shocked by Nick's attitude and behavior. I understand that tipping is part of the industry, but it should never be a prerequisite for basic, courteous service.
I hope the management at addresses this issue and ensures that all customers receive fair and respectful treatment, regardless of the tip they leave

Great bar. You can get an amazing view of the beach and Asbury board walk. I haven't seen this place overly crowded. It's really nice to sit here and relax. The staff is friendly. I dropped a beer bottle and shattered it by accident. I was worried I'd be flagged after just one beer. But the staff was very understanding and helped clean it up right away. I tried to help but they insisted for me not to. I have never had a bad or great experience here. But that's why I love it. It's a nice place to relax, have a drink, and unwind. It's a good neutral place to enjoy Asbury. Just really good vibes.
