Berkeley Bar is a fabulous location with a very good breakfast cafe and pizza place on the ground floor. It is a great casual spot to eat and meet, with sunny and accommodating conference spaces. The hotel is clean and well-run, but some guests found the heavy fragrance in common areas to be overwhelming. The Penthouse Jr. room is described as awesome, with a beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, and a very firm couch. The hotel has a daily resort fee and charges $50 per day for parking. The on-premises Italian restaurant had fantastic tomato sauce but struggled with service, with long waits for drinks and food. The chicken parmesan was overcooked and the new chef was said to be inexperienced. Overall, the hotel is pleasant but the restaurant experience left much to be desired.
