The customer service was awesome. The soft serve was great. Definitely will try them again. They were at the Ausbury Vegan Festival.

This is my absolute favorite place in Asbury. The shaved ice texture and flavors are delicious as well as the ice pops. I usually bring a cooler and take some home as well. The flavors are so fruity and fresh, I always stop by when I’m in the area. Great fair prices too.

Owner called me and my family disgusting. I have never been treated so poorly or talked down to worse in my life. Owner was rude from the first comment and did not once talk to me nicely. I wish I could say I was embellishing, but I am not.

Was a long time customer until one unfortunate visit my children and I were treated with disdain for asking for a sample. It’s ok to have rules but to project your bad day onto 10 year olds and paying customers on a Friday afternoon at the beach is unacceptable. Completely unprofessional complaining about how expensive it is to run her business to the kids. All she needed to do was take a break. Don’t forget to breath in and breath out in a moment of silence and perhaps you’d feel refreshed enough to handle your customers with care.

Giving 2 stars as it looked nice and haven’t tried all options. For my own experience alone I’d give 1. Terrible service - two bored-looking girls who couldn’t even be bothered to tell my 4 year old or us the flavours. Just pointed to the wall. Which is written in an overwhelming style so I couldn’t even make out options. Went for the lemon ice cream - which was very sickly & included cookie bits, I didn’t see (flavours written on top of plastic cover). All flavours looked very sweet, nothing plain fruit or tart. $5 a kid’s small cone which I guess is expected price here. Won’t go back! Disappointing.

Giving this 2 star because the salt water taffy is fresh but everything else was underwhelming.The banana chewy candy and strawberry chewy candy were a little hard and flavor was just okay.Icepop was made with fresh fruit which was exciting to see and that was tasty, and would give it a 3.8 out of 5 since it's made in house.The Gelato was slimey, and looked as if it was frozen, defrosted, and frozen again which I'm sure is not the case but that was the appearance. Unfortunately the flavor and texture is definitely not Gelato. I'd reccomend Breyers Ice Cream from a grocery store as opposed to spending money on the Gelato here.Shaved ice has beautiful texture. It was light, airy, and fluffy. The issue I had was that there was not enough syrup provided on the ice. I went back for more syrup and it still wasn't enough. My syrup was tasty but my friend got shaved ice as well and said her syrup tasted as if it surpassed the shelf life and was old.Overall, would like to give this a 1 star but the taffy was great and the texture of the ice was solid. Would not go back.

Awesome little ice cream and shaved ice place in convention hall. Note- it's shaved ice- not Italian ice style. Both the small and large shaved ice are huge which is cool. Price is a bit high at $8 since it literally costs them next to nothing for ice and some juice mix but everything is out of control pricing nowadays. You can choose up to 3 flavors or just do one. Good selection of flavors. Ice cream is vegan and dairy free which is cool for those who can't do dairy or are vegan. Note if you want regular ice cream there's 2 places on the boardwalk that has that. Staff was friendly. Small tables to eat your ice cream at. Great way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Vegan soft serve doesn’t exist where I live so this was an incredible treat. The twist in a vegan waffle cone, with free sprinkles, made my day. Highly recommend!

We love Betty's Icebox!! A family favorite!! Their ice is so fluffy and there are flavors to please anyone!! If you get a large you can choose 3 flavors!! They have a cute little seating area with tables that have holes to hold your ice treat!! They also have ice pops, frozen bananas, Gelato, popcorn and many other treats. Even plenty of vegan options!!
