I always love going to bond street with my friends come winter time but my experience there last weekend was made by Sam. Her knowledge of liquor and personality really made our time there so much better. Her charisma, vibe is everything and more that you want to see at a bar. I will be always searching her out when I go to Bond Street now.

An enjoyable little hole in the wall within asbury park. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. Their burgers are some of my favorite in the area. Compared to a lot of the places just within blocks of bond st, it’s well worth stopping in here for a drink or two. I can say, over the years the bouncers and some of the bartenders have gotten very condescending and rude. I think there definitely needs to be some new training done within there but, overall I would still stop in for a pint when I’m in asbury.

What’s crazy is that throughout the night me and my friends were all having a good time. The food was good and the drinks are cheap. We had a party of almost 10 people and were there for hours. Everything was great until the end of the night when my partner goes to cash out our individual bill. She leaves the change for the bartender and the bouncer hands her her change back and says “it was supposed to be 15 so we don’t want your 7” ?? First of all what? It’s so rude to be demanding a tip in that way. And my partner was of course visibly upset but the worst was when my friend came out afterwards and spoke of the same issue of his money being returned back to him after tipping 20% and being told “we don’t want your jew tip” What the hell. This place rlly gotta think about how they talk to their customers cuz they are losing business this way and gaining a bad rep.
