Delicious pizza. The puttanesca was yummy. I love anchovies but it was a little fishier than i expected. The mushroom trio pizza was amazing. Beautiful ambience too

Be prepared. This is the type of place where you want to look at the menu ahead of time. You order when you get to the counter and pay ahead of time. This was a really nice feature because when you're ready to go, you can just leave.
The views, the atmosphere, the ambiance and the food are all top notch. The smoked eggplant and pesto pie and the margarita pie were both amazing. The NA menu is lovely for someone like me who doesn't drink. All in all, we can't wait to become regulars here!

Sat outside on a beautiful summer evening and enjoyed a spicy sausage fennel and margarita pies. Love the shishito peppers and there is never anything wrong with BYO! Also the mock tail selection is on point if you want to try something different and new.
No slight to the owner but have to speak the my truth. Finally tried this restaurant since it opened to all the hype. First of all, anything is better than the previous establishment which occupied the space. So glad to have a new business here. My initial comment is that the ordering process is completely WRONG. You have to struggle to rush through the menu to make your Choices with a line standing behind you before you’re allowed to have a table. It’s stupid. You should be able to sit down and make your food choices. Even at a diner like Franks you can sit down with the menu and decide on your order. The salads were poorly thought out. Just salad leaves dumped on a plate. Minimal dressing. Leaves were burnt not charred.Pizza was what was expected and more or less the same as the owners previous establishment. Medusa. Galley pizza is better but does not have the nice lake front setting.I want to love this place. All of these issues I could overlook for a walkable restaurant in the neighborhood EXCEPT for the paying up front part. Because they don’t trust their patrons to pay?? I can strongly recommend the olives. ?. Let’s hope they can get their act together.

Our first time picking up from Catbird tonight. Read the article in Asbury Mag and they exceeded our expectations ❤️Kind warm welcome and the food was excellent. Next time we’ll stay and watch the sunset. Loved the mushroom pizza and kale salad especially. Thank you?

Excited to go to Catbird after seeing it in Instagram wanted to find a local restaurant that was walkable with good pizza. Unfortunately, the hostess on Saturday night 9/14 was favorable to certain customers and was seating them first when they arrived after we did. She told us our wait would be 45 minutes or less to be seated outside. She must realized her actions was inappropriate she didn’t stay outside any longer and hid in the restaurant. Not until I confronted her an hour and twenty minutes later, that she was obviously ignoring us, and seating other customers before us. She apologized and we were brought in by someone else a few minutes later. This is completely inappropriate & discriminating and we will not be returning. I would advise the owner of the establishment to review the conduct of the staff, because even though the pizza was good when you’re miss treated, it can leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I will begin by saying the food was good BUT their system is a bit strange. We were given a specials and asked to go outside to read the regular menus and pick out the food we wanted to eat. Then you stop at the register pay before you even seated and also charged a tip for service You haven’t had yet. I had the blackened shrimp which were delicious and had chickpeas in the center however it was appetizer size only three shrimp. My friend had muscles which were equally as delicious and was given two thin slices of bread Here comes the tacky part. I asked if I could have one slice of bread because my food was so delicious. I was then told that I had to buy the entire bread basket at almost 7 dollars even though I’ve eaten my whole meal and all I asked for was a slice of bread So she takes the order and then immediately comes to the table with the credit card machine asking us to pay for the bread lol. Couldn’t even wait until we were at least serve the bread or until we finished eating. I’m not in the habit of stealing bread from restaurants lol They really need to think about the customer!! It was good, but not if you’re hungry or have a large appetite. Can’t say that I’ll be going back anytime soon.
