Coney Waffle Ice Cream and Sweet Shop

I love the place, their service dedication and food was great. I love their Soft vanilla icecream with chocolate dip. Whenever I go there I get one of this. I'm really into it. Also with the oceanview beach on a sunny day, it makes a great combination.

The cone was amazing! Ice cream was creamy and good, but this cone is to dream about! It wasn’t stale or dry, friendly service too!

Busy ice cream store right on the very busy Asbury Park boardwalk. But can be fun wirth different and sometimes huge choices. The rootbeer float was enough for 2 people. Friendly and fun place with seating right on the boardwalk.
But overall too loud and busy for my tastes.

Parking: Parking. Especially on summer weekends is next to impossible

My daughter was stung by a bee in the playground near this ice cream shop, so I brought her here to make her feel better. After we placed our ice cream order I asked a staff member for an ice cube to put on her sting. She told me that they do not sell ice and she would get in trouble if she gave me an ice cube, so I asked to speak to a manager so I could ask for the ice cube, and I was told the manager was not there. In my frustration and disbelief I forgot to grab napkins after paying. When I went back into the store there was a different staff member at the register so I asked her for napkins, and I figured I would ask again for an ice cube since my daughter was still crying in pain. She at least offered to sell me a cup of ice for $2.50. I didn't mind paying for the ice, not sure why that wasn't offered at first. It is cruel to have a store policy that denies assistance to a child in pain.

The atmosphere of the shop is really fun and they have these sideshow milkshakes, which are insane! My milkshake that I ordered was ok, it just didn't have as much flavor as I would have wanted and the milk came though strong.?????

Worst place if you have a nut allergy!I asked if they could use a CLEAN fresh scooper and i was told they “arent allowed to wash the scooper”…. Yuck!!! So imagine what is in your ice cream people. This place should be ashamed.

One star because I can’t give it any star. She did my order wrong when I complained she just ignored me like she doesn’t understand me and say the amount to pay. Unpleasant moment at that store.. I really wanted my ice cream

The experience is there- great appeal for both kids and adults.However there were a few problems:1. the service was below average ( even for a high school kid)2. they don’t allow for samples, which when a child wants to taste the superman ice cream, but as the parent you know they won’t like the flavor- tasting that ice cream will help with stop your kid from having a tantrum because they dislike the flavor and save money since you won’t have to buy another $$$ ice cream3. the ice cream tastes like the average big store ice cream
