Cousins Maine Lobster Restaurant - Asbury Park

Amazing food. Tried the lobster grilled cheese sandwich and a Maine Harvest Salad:
Mixed greens, white balsamic vinaigrette, hazelnuts, butternut squash, dried cranberries, avocado, crumbled goat cheese. Looking forward to stopping there again. Usually catch one of the trucks at the end of each month in my area. Hope to visit next time I'm at the beach.

Really the lobster sandwich and tacos are a good option, the price is so perfect, could be with a cocktail or beer must be. Bettter but really is the best option in this block,

My first time trying Cousin’s Maine Lobster and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted fresh - we got Maine lobster rolls, fish and chips, and soups, and the food was prepared well. Perfect for after the beach. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, and the restrooms clean.

The food is absolutely delicious. My mom ordered the fish sandwich and she loved it. It was nice and tender. It’s definitely worth the price. I ordered the lobster quesadilla and the lobster tater tots. Chunks of lobster in there, so good. I highly recommend.

Two words Lobster BLT. is that two words? w/e it is fantastic. Laid back atmosphere kids loved the food (that's rare for us) I'm not coming back to Asbury without eating here again. LOVE IT

We visited Cousins Maine Lobster on the Asbury Park boardwalk and tried three items: the lobster roll, lobster BLT, and lobster tacos. While the lobster itself tasted fresh, the portions were small for the price, we spent around $80 for the three dishes, which felt steep.

The lobster roll was the best of the three, with decent flavor, but the other dishes lacked seasoning and didn’t quite deliver for the cost. I get that boardwalk prices are higher, but I’d expect more generous portions or bolder flavors for what you pay. If you’re craving lobster, the roll is the safest choice, but overall, the value wasn’t quite there for me.

Overall an average experience. I got a maine lobster roll, which was okay but a bit pricy. 25$ for a lobster roll is a lot, especially considering the portion size.

If you want to feel good about yourself but also enjoy life get this. Absolutely delicious. I love a good lobster roll but wanted to start my morning by fueling my body with something more balanced. This was my first meal of the day and after tasting the quality, I’m sure the roll would not disappoint. I got the Maine Harvest salad, making sure to add chicken. Would love to come back.

Lobster tail was tiny, and fish tacos had more batter than fish. Overall, your getting a lot less bank for your buck

We had an extremely delicious bunch of lobster rolls here yesterday on the 4th of July! Eating outside on the boardwalk was great!!
