100% fresh off the boat Cuban food. This man is a Cuban immigrant who has been in the US for 20 years. He has a quirky personality, his food is incredible. I ordered the breaded fish with arroz morro and it was so good. Yucca was flavorful. Large portions, most authentic food in the area. It doesn't get any better than this.

THEE Best Cuban food in Monmouth County. There is another Cuban restaurant on the boardwalk but all of the locals know that this is the place to come to for authentic Cuban cuisine. The food is always fresh, delicious and priced affordably. The flavor is something that keeps you daydreaming the next day and wanting to come back. I truly could eat this everyday. So many different selections available on a daily basis.

NEVER AGAIN. I ordered for pickup via DoorDash because I had a DoorDash promo code. When I got there, the owner yelled at me and berated me for an actual 20 minutes complaining that DoorDash doesn't pay him. I'm not sure how that was at all my fault, but he took it out on me. I will never order food from here again, and I'll be recommending others to stay away also. This was the strangest and most awful restaurant experience I have ever had.

A day at the beach is always an excuse to Cuban Cafe which I consider one of the best Cuban restaurants that I've been to north of Miami. Giant cuban sandwiches, you should only get half, but you will want to eat more. The smooths are more an air to agua fresca, made with fresh fruit and best with ice only. They are refreshing after a day on the beach and I often get one before and after the ocean. The cook is very friendly and will make friendly conversation as you wait for your meal. They provide strong service. Outdoor seating. What more could you ask for in cheap eats, by the beach.
