My friends and I came here for brunch a few weekends ago and it was a great experience. We went to brunch on the earlier side and thankfully, we didn't have to wait at all for a table. Our waiter was wonderful and helped to walk us through the menu. We ordered a number of things off the menu; the tres leche donut which was delicious, the grilled cheese & tomato bisque, the dressed greens salad, the brunch pie and the salmon lox toast. Everything that we had was very good and filling! The added bonus was that there was a live jazz band playing in the main room of the restaurant and was so lovely to listen to. I'd absolutely come back here again!

Had a bad lunch experience. First, let me say, I've come here before and had good food and decent service; not today. When we walked in we were hit by the odor of fish that was probably going bad.. strong odor.. I wanted to leave but my partner did not. I normally order fish, but was afraid to, so I ordered French toast off the brunch menu. bad choice; it came to the table undercooked and mushy. So sadly I will be giving HomeSick a rest...and -1 Star.

Went there for Saturday brunch and had a great experience. The service and atmospherewas top-notch. I had the warm lentil salad which was a huge portion and excellent. In retrospect I could have done away with the shredded chicken because it was too much. Others at the table had the pancakes and the brisket quesadilla and everyone said their choice was great. What stood out to me was the biscuits. No doubt the best I ever had. This place is a win win.

We came as a large group for a team building, working brunch. This place is very nice with a relaxing atmosphere and even some live acoustic music. The servers are pleasant. The menu can take some navigating if you have allergies and prefer plant based meals. They try to be accommodating.

Went last night for dinner. The design of the place is very nice and they had live jazz music in the corner.Service was great and very attentive. I ordered the asparagus soup and the lamb pappardelle. Delicious, filling meal. I sat in the lucky seat so I got a free drink! Fresh OJ. Overall great experience. Hope to be back for more food and music!

If you want expertly made drinks and average bistro fare with it, this is your place. Wife and I came in to decompress after stressful day and it served its purpose. The martinis were made perfectly and the cocktails at the table next to us look enviously appetizing. For the food, my wife got the soup which was underwhelming with undercooked asparagus and mushrooms and needed more seasonimg. My pork chop was perfectly cooked with tasty parsnip puree, which id highly recommend if youre hungry. The kitchen is very slow though our server Sara was attentive to us. While nothing was bad, the food didnt rise to the quality of the drinks so i could only give 4 stars.

We always wanted to visit this place and today we finally did. It is a spacious open space with beautiful decor. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We had brunch and all the items were full of flavor and the right size portions. Desert menu is delicious. Will definitely come back for more. #BrunchLove #FoodieAdventures ???

Practically perfect in every way. We stumbled upon Homesick during a visit to Asbury Park and were very pleased with the experience. The food was overall excellent with one exception: the gluten free brioche bun was a bit on the dense and dry side which made it difficult to eat the veggie burger as it was. The carrots were lovely and the bread board was decadent. The ambiance is warm and cozy with comfortable seating and one of the neatest and most picture perfect bars we’ve seen in a while.

Chic ambiance and fancy food. Bland taste; very fun ambience. Youthful staff in this stylish place makes vibes for upscale brunch. Sunday Jazz is great and enhances the mood. Fun light fixtures! Some drinks and menu items reasonably priced!

I had the best experience at homesick!! The food was amazing, but the service was the best part!! I came here for brunch and from the moment we got there to when we left, we had an amazing time. Grace was the absolute sweetest server ever, I couldn’t have asked for better service. Truly the best service experience I’ve had at any restaurant!

Went for a birthday dinner last night based on my daughter's past experience at this venue.Chicken wings were under cooked and rubbery and the pierogies were burnt on one side. Other meals were okay but nothing special. There was only one waiter trying to accommodate 7 tables (around 6:15). Drinks and food were not served in a timely manner but his attitude was great. I know my daughter was embarrassed on an evening that should have gone better than it did.
