In town for a wedding and looked for a local Italian restaurant for our night before. Discovered Jimmy’s and after reading some reviews we were sold. Great local spot with wonderful ambiance and terrific food! Bernadette took care of us and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend!!

Old time Italian with a Jersey mob feel. Been there many times, and I intend to go back many more times. One of my favorite places to eat near the Jersey shore.

If you want some authentic Italian, you are at the right place. Feels like you are out to dinner during Prohibition lol. Great food, decent service, and good drinks.

I can’t believe that this food came from a reputable restaurant. I ordered take out twice. The first order was for two the bill came two 90.00 I was not really happy the shrimp was over cooked and had a strange color the Caesar dressing tasted fishy not to my taste. I thought it was a one off So we decided to try the pizza I paid separately for delivery so out of pocket cost 30.00 the pizza was not edible it was burned. To be honest they offered to bake me another pie. I still was left to pay again for delivery. I do not except responsibility for your poor service

Best old Italian vibe place to eat. Historic. Rock stars and mobsters go here. Great food. I sometimes go just for the homemade pistachio cake.

my wife wanted a great Italian meal on her 65th birthday. The food was passable to good but came out very late as we watched 3 large tables served before us that were seated after us. When we asked our server politely when we could expect our dinner, she treated us with a very callous and snippy attitude. I got the distinct impression that the other diners were regulars getting preferential treatment. We won't be back.

My husband (Dalton) and I stumbled across Jimmy’s 4 years ago on a spur of the moment trip to Asbury as we searched for good food amongst the 4th of July fireworks madness. Jimmy’s immediately became ‘our spot’. We fell in love with the ambiance, authentic cuisine and the house made Caesar dressing is to die for. We have been here so many times for date nights and the 2 hour drive from Pennsylvania is worth it. We recommend the veal parmigiana (my husband’s favorite) and the crab and shrimp stuffed Sole (my new favorite) if you’re lucky you will get Bernadette as a waitress and your night will be even better! Thank you for always having us

I’ve been going to Jimmy’s for years. I’ve never had a bad meal or service. I usually get the chicken parm or eggplant parm and they are always delicious. I decided to get the chicken piccata and it was incredibly good. The chicken was so juicy. Don’t skip dessert! Never a bad time there.
Great place to eat and the food is amazing too
I recently went to Jimmy’s, after not having been there for many years, and EVERYTHING was INCREDIBLE!! It was actually even better than I remembered. The food was perfect and the sizes were impressive. The one thing that truly made my experience unforgettable was my waiter Noah. I cannot say enough good things about how attentive he was. He made sure that everything was perfect and I will surely ask for him next time I go back!!
It’s time for Diane to close and retire. The food is horrendous! Whoever gives them five stars has no idea about Italian food. I’m Italian from New York and then going to Jimmy’s since they opened the quality of food changed the way overpriced menu makes Manhattan prices look like a diner! The bait clams are so dry. They’re on edible the fish dishes chicken dishes are very, very dry once one of the best Italian restaurants around to eat is Now a dump! Vegetables are dry no taste I sauce is not desirable. Her clam sauce is terrible The Vail chop went from half to size and the price is ridiculous. It’s time for her to pack it in. The service is not like it used to be at all this place now can’t hold the candle to Brando‘s,Osteria Cucina.via Esposito and Anjelica’s After all the years of going there, the owner wouldn’t buy you a soda. She’s not grateful. She’s not a nice person and I’m sure the place is not gonna last too much longer. The place is a total rip off!!!
