Went here with some reservations; wasn't a huge fan of the former restaurant. However, Judy's is great! Amazing matzoh ball soup and a great steak, followed by the chocolate budino. Great Non-Alc drink selection as well. My husband had the fluke piccata and the salad. Cannot wait to go back!

First time at this fabulous restaurant. Superb food, I had the wonderful lumache crab and shrimp pasta, the chopped salad with apples and goat cheese and a glorious after dinner cocktail as dessert. Truly extraordinary service! Will return with a larger party next time!

Everything was 10/10, from the staff, the design/vibe inside, and the delicious food. Perfect place to celebrate my 30th.

We went to Judy and Harry’s for our anniversary last night. Wow, what a place. Really two places. Up front is the dark, elegant, Harry’s Bar with outstanding cocktails and a relaxing comfortable darkly lit space. If weather is nice there’s a big porch with comfortable seating outside but inside is chic and stylish. Then for dinner there is Judy’s. It’s fantastic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and hip and cool. The space is beautiful, bright and airy, with plenty of space between tables and options to sit at the bar there or at another kind of bar in front of the chef’s working in the open kitchen (chef’s counter). The options are all made clear on Resy when making reservations. All are good, tables most intimate. The food was the standout, everything fresh, creative, and delicious. New favorite in Asbury Park. Owners Nelly and David are popular with their staff, often present though they own other excellent restaurants, and they’re very involved in a good way which is a sign of a well run place that cares for it’s team. It really shows. Outstanding place for dinner!

This was our first time back to The St. Laurent since Heirloom turned into Judy's and we were not disappointed! I'm gluten free and had no shortage of options to choose from on the menu. My husband and I split the octopus, pork ribs, lumache pasta and skirt steak (plus a side of schmaltz potatoes) and everything was delicious. Special shout out to the gluten free pasta they used in the lumache (so much better than I was expecting!) and the schmaltz potatoes (perfectly crispy on the outside and so creamy on the inside). We'll be back again and again.

Wow what an absolutely wonderful meal we enjoyed last night. The service is spectacular and informative... The lounge is like a little speakeasy with old school music playing softly in background.

Cool restaurant inside the St. Laurent. Bright, clean atmosphere and comfortable seating. All the employees were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious. Portions aren't the biggest, but enough for sure. Cocktails were very good. A little pricey, but what isn't today. Don't mind spending a little more for a better experience. We'll be back.

The interior and exterior is gorgeous - they did a phenomenal job. Staff were very courteous and friendly!
Restaurant could do with some sound treatment, it was extremely loud. Food was ok. Not my favorite personally but it was an interesting food fusion. Def haven’t had anything like it before!
Not pictured are the desserts which left a lot to be desired. I’m sure as time goes on this spot is going to get better.

Despite not having a great stay at Hotel Saint Laurent 2 years ago, I must say that I was extremely happy drinking and dining in the restaurant below the hotel! Food was delicious and staff was excellent!!!

Visited Judy's last night with six for a special birthday. Atmosphere is nice but very loud because of the open kitchen concept. There is no glass divider so you hear pots and pans clashing which equates to hard to hear. Ordered four appetizers including focaccia and there were 5 pieces for 6 ppl. huh??? if you are going to charge $16 for bread, can you make sure there is at least one piece for everyone. Next onto appetizers, latke is not a real latke which is shredded potatoes. Every appetizer was tiny. Entrees ...tasty but very small portions. Pasta was $36, strip steak $42 ( no sides included) and most outrageous part of dinner
was the dover sole was $85 and supposedly shareable. Dish was the a single portion size Manager came over and said server made an error telling us it was shareable, offered us another entree which I assumed they would charge us for so we declined. Bill came and absolutely no discount off plus they addred a 20% auto service charge. $600 bill , $100 pp. Oy vey. Save your $$, on this kind of gimmicky restaurant ( we didn't get the jewish/italian theme) and go to Moonstruck or Brandos where service is impeccable and you don't feel like your getting ripped off

Judy & Harry's is an unbelievable experience. Nick & Suzana provide memorable, thoughtful, and detailed service. The dishes are delicious and unique–especially the mezzaluna and lumache pastas. Nick crafts balanced cocktails, is a great conversationalist, and is a bonafide professional. Suzana articulates each dish eloquently and anticipates anything that is needed, without being asked. Thank you Michael, from the St. Laurent hotel, for accommodating me with a reservation tonight. I'm so happy that I stopped in, and can't wait to return!

I keep thinking about this dining experience - it truly was not just dinner. Six moms out to celebrate the start of the school year. Beautiful location, completely unpretentious, authentically themselves staff that looked like they actually enjoy their jobs. Deep knowledge of both the drink and food menus by the waitress, managed family style ordering with a food allergy seamlessly, attentive service (from the water pouring, plate cleanup, main server, manager etc.) All of this added to the food being absolutely delicious. Special shout out to the Panna Cotta - best dessert i've EVER had - and i'd consider myself a foodie. 3 hours, not rushed, course by course as it should be. 10/10 dining experience - do not skip on this place!

This was my first time here at Judy’s. What an amazing experience. The food is absolutely delicious. Nicholas, our server/bartender (we dined at the bar) was so knowledgeable about the entire menu. His suggestions were on point. I highly recommend Judy’s then Harry’s for another amazing experience.
