I just left the diner- one worker at counter, 3 people at register ordering, one person in front of me in line, and another person behind me in line. I was specifically going for an a few orders of chicken wings. There was 5 left when I got in and was just going to ask for them all even though I needed more than those 5 and waited in line for my turn. As I’m waiting a chef was putting in new food. The lady worker told him to take the chicken away- I thought it was also being replaced. When it got to my turn I asked for chicken wings and the lady told me no more. I said I just came for the wings and she said sorry no more. I’m confused as to why those wings were brought back into the kitchen and she didn’t offer those wings to me as I ordered them and just witnessed them go into the kitchen with the cook. I was upset that I wasn’t offered to have fresh wings made per order for me or even take the time to go in the kitchen and see if the wings were available. If there is a line of people, nothing should be removed from the counter. When people arrive, the first thing they do is look to see what’s available. That’s exactly what I did, I saw the chicken wings, was going to order the wings, and then they were removed from the counter and when I ordered them was told unavailable. If food is going to be removed, at least ask the customers in line first before taking them away. You don’t know what they are there for. I ended up leaving without buying anything and upset.

Great place but needs some work on food consistency. Rice was hard, must have used leftover rice from the fridge. Shredded pork looked great. Maduros were on the money. The Ropa vieja might have been over cooked, flavor was there but it was mushie not stringie. The sandwich cubano looked good. Decor was modern and clean. Will have to try again next time when in Asbury !

I had ordered here from DoorDash and I’m very disappointed on how inconsiderate this place is they should think about people like me who work and can’t do anything. I had ordered the pork with rice beans and I think it comes with veggies I was so hungry and excited to eat I’m at work it’s lunch time just for them to only send me pork and not the rice and beans how inconsiderate to not check to make sure you had my order right. I’m so angry and disappointed please do better and think of people like me who are working and can’t do anything about this.

STAFF are very welcoming and kind! Plátanos was a bit dry but they’re ok, I’ll give them a second try. Empanada were ok, could’ve been bad day, I’ll try them again just to make sure. Happy to try them again, I’d order something different.

I heard a lot of good things about this place like they have extremely good prices and good food but lt was just a big fabrication I ordered the chicken which was extremely huge and not cooked all the way 😞 and rice and beans it was nasty as well then they charged me for white rice that I never ordered with the meal I seen it on the receipt when I got home they also charged me 2 dollars just for one can of soda it's too expensive plus they food was disgusting I end up paying 14 dollars just for beans and rice and one piece of nasty chicken I won't be returning

Today I arrived with my husband to Latín Diner in Asbury Park and before dinner we wanted to use the bathroom and the lady who is at the cashier sent my husband to the back of the store because she will open the bathroom door for him and left us in the rain and he never came to open the bathroom door for us. I would never buy in this store since they don't know how to treat customers 9/28/2024 Visiting time 3:38pm
Food was good but after I placed my order, the employee said "que loca de gringa" to her coworker next to her.
Will not be returning. Very offended.

This place was a pleasant surprise! They were only open a week when i stopped by but they were on top of everything. The service was good. Lots of smiles and the food was freshly made and sooo good and really inexpensive for the amount if food you get! The black beans were yummy but I went back the very next day for the chicken empanadas!!! We got dine in but took it outside to enjoy, so I had leftovers ready to go. I wish them well and hope they're still open the next time I make it down the shore!
Parking: They're near a supermarket so parking was easy.
