My family has been coming here for a while. The Latin food is homemade and truly authentic. We love the breakfast, which reminds my husband of how his mother (who was from Puerto Rico) used to make it. They have tons of other food as well, guava pastries, relleno de papa, potato mask balls, empanadas, chicken, shrimp, beef, soups. All fabulous!
Prices are reasonable and they are conveniently located in Asbury on Memorial Drive, across from Catsbury.

Just had take out on 11/1/25. Just a small portion of beef, two pieces of yuca, with a bit of red onions over them, and 6 small piece of of none ripe plantain. No rice or black beans. 19.00 Forgettaboutit!

Very clean and neat atmosphere. It's a bright, light space with comfortable seating to eat-in. Extremely friendly service: they make you feel at home. The food is delicious and the prices are fair. I'll be returning since finding Cuban food in this area is rare.

The food in Latin Diner is delicious but I noticed that the they are giving smaller portions of the protein which is what I need in my portions. Yesterday I picked up some food after work and I received more rice and beans than meat/fish. I only got 2 pieces of meat with what looked like 2 servings of rice/beans. Same thing with my husbands meal. It looked like half a serving of protein, and 2 servings of carbs. Please stop being stingy with your protein. You will lose customers that way.
Easy Saturday morning breakfast. 2 of us diner and we got the #4 i think and the #5...nice sized portions. good quality food. Seeing my partners food i would have probably chosen the #4 over the #5.
