It’s the OG for me. Been my favorite since I was in the womb. Some days are better than others but it’s always good. Thank you Marucas for all the memories and tasty tomato pies!

One star for wasting my time with a drive

Very good but $6.50 for a slice (it is large though).

Great pizza! Especially the sauce Please heat the pizzas a little more before serving so the cheese can melt.

Super thin bar style pizza found in every pub of America marketed as “shore slices”, not at all a Jersey classic. Completely off the mark and over priced, but not terrible for what it is.

This food truck is a right on the board walk. Huge slices for 7$ plus and 18in pies for 24$. We got a half and half option. Pepperoni and onion pepper. The crust is cooked just right and on the crunchy side. With lotsa tomato sauce. If u craving pies and pizza this is the spot. Right by the beach entrance

Overall, this place was a good experience. The pizza was really good, and the slice was big. At $6.50 for a slice in a shore town, that’s pretty reasonable in my book. They have a few tables to share but the line does get long. I would definitely suggest you try at least a slice on your next visit to Asbury Park beach. The only negative I have (and it’s a personal pet peeve of mine) is they only accept credit card or Apple Pay. I am a cash is king person so luckily my spouse had a card. Ironic though that they have a cash tip jar at the register. Lol

I've been enjoying Maruca's Tomato Pies (on the boardwalk @ Seaside) for decades. Whatever they are serving in Asbury is an imposter. At $6.50 per slice it should have been life changing, but alas it was like having over cooked (burnt crust) frozen pizza.I will continue to patronize the Seaside Heights establishment because they are absolutely delicious, but I'll avoid Asbury's,

So they don’t accept cash but it’s against the law as there’s a law passed in 2019 they believe they are above the law with their cold 40$

Great beach pizza, I'm not sure what's up with this tomato sauce swirl, but normally I would prefer to have more cheese. I found it quite refreshing.

Ate a single slice of plain pizza from here and ended up with horrible food poisoning within 20 minutes of eating it. The pizza tasted bad as was but then I was horribly sick for 24 hours after. Ruined my beach weekend

Great pizza. Big slices. Limited seating but at least they have some tables which is nice. Other places have none. Line can be long because it's popular and they send every slice to do a turn in the oven so it can be a bit before you order and get your slice. Not big on when you pay it asks you for a tip before completing the transaction as many places do nowadays and the cashier points out the tip feature. You're literally taking my order and someone else is handing me a slice of pizza. Not a tipping situation. And yes I've worked in multiple food settings including pizzerias. People don't tip when getting a slice usually. I did have one person who said if you don't want to tip just hit no tip and because she said that I tipped her. I appreciated that. Nice option if you want something quick and relatively inexpensive compared to the other restaurants on the boardwalk.
