Tiny place in a former two bay auto mechanic shop that cranks out AMAZING wood fired oven pizzas that are subtly topped and delicious. Had oven roasted wings w a white balsamic glaze (special)and they were some of the best I've ever had! People working there went above and beyond. Great atmosphere. So small I swear I could feel the heat of the oven on the back of my neck but I'll be back there very very soon!

Decided to pick up some take out today on a lazy Sunday. I opted for the French dip. Very very good. The ciabatta was fresh, fluffy, and crispy. A generous portion of meat included in the sandwich and the flavorings were on point. Au Jus (not sure if I spelled that right ha) was great as well. My only downfall would be the side of shishito peppers? Not a huge fan of peppers so this is a personal preference. I would've rather had fries or something else maybe I can ask to sub the peppers for another option next time. All in all. I was highly impressed and will definitely be back for a sit down meal to try the pizzas and get a bowl of that delicious looking French onion soup. Also, sidebar; I think the bread they use at cafe volan is the sourdough from here and I've never had anything so delicious in my life!!!!

Normally I have my go to pizza spot in asbury and do not deviate, but I Tried Medusa and I loved it. The staff was so friendly and patient with me taking forever to make up my mind. I had the specialty pizza which was braised pork with a fried egg. I LOVE a runny yolk on pizza. It was absolutely delicious, this place might be my next go to. Look forward to going back soon.

Medusa is the place to go for the best mushroom pizza. 3 different kinds of mushrooms on a white thin crust brick oven pizza. Oh and don't forget the roasted baby Brussels sprouts! Awesome!! The best I tasted in Jersey by far. Aimee and the crew are absolutely amazing and so friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I recommend this jersey shore restaurant to everyone. The best!!

Cozy, cool interior and setup. Simplistic menu with delicious options. We had the french onion soup and 2 pizzas. Plenty for 2 people. Our waitstaff was very attentive and friendly! I've never had such good conversation with a waitress. Wish I got her name to include here. Will definitely be back.

The best pizza around! Non traditional pizza but absolutely delicious! Brisket and Gravy is out of this world! Staff is very friendly and the host/server Pony is the best!

Flavors that make your mouth sing. I had the white pizza with fresh arugula and it was a great price. Definitely coming here for gourmet pizza. Loved it!!!

I was excited to finally try this location. I've seen the cool boxes with the Medusa stamp and once I found out it was a pizza spot, I just need I would be there. Was craving pizza for a while but held out to experience it here. I ordered online which was simple and my order was ready when they said it would be. The pizza looked EXACTLY like the photo on the site. When trying pizza for the first time I always go with just plain cheese. If you get that right, then we can talk about toppings next visit. I wasn't that impressed with the pizza. It lacked flavor in the sauce and was super soggy in the center. I didn't mind how think the crust was but I need a bit more. I've had other coal fired pizza and this just didn't stack up. I won't be back. The service was nice upon my arrival so that's what is really getting them the 3 stars.

I love this place! Very girl-power! It has great pizza, an excellent kale salad and interesting desserts. Parking is relatively easy and it is byob. The staff is welcoming.

Friendly service. Our waitress was so sweet, kind and not to forget to mention the gorgeous color of her hair. The plates here - mix match is so adorable. The carafes of water - colored bottles remind me so much of Italy. It was a nice sunny day to sit outside. It does get busy around dinner time. Please note it's BYOB. We had water and cold brew. Brick oven pizza - we ordered the onion, olive, pepper pizza. The pizza was good and we did have some olive oil on the sides, red pepper flakes and parmigiana. I felt the sauce itself was lacking flavor. It really did need pepper. I did have some hints of sea salt and that enhanced the flavors. With that being said, it did need something extra. It did taste like good quality tomato but lacking something. We finished with an ice cream sandwich. It is so tiny and cute. Perfect way to end the meal. The cookie was delicious and ice cream was creamy.

Loved it. It was so good. I would go there again. I mean the cheese blends so well with the tomatos and it is brick oven. But the pizzas are big and are not perosnal unless you are very hungry. It is enough to share.
