This is a great idea...a food court made up of food trucks, right off the boardwalk. In practice... a huge disappointment. There's no schedule of what days/hours trucks will be open so it's just luck if you find more than one or two open. Tried checking social for hours of some of the individual trucks...not reliable either. Found out from the one truck that was open last time I was there, a lot of them won't show up if the weather looks iffy or will just close up if it's too slow. You can't expect reliable business if you don't have a reliable schedule of operation. Organizers really need to do a better job.

Definitely check out Johnny's pork roll! Quick service and a really yummy sandwich. Be sure to get with ketchup for a little sweetness with the salty pork!

Any visit to Asbury park should include this funky little area known as North End Eats. It's a collection of very unique food trucks that have something for everyone. My favorite is the customizable ice cream sandwich truck AND if you go Friday evenings through the summer there is an amazingly talented jazz trio performing between 6 and 9pm.

Such a great idea to have a gathering of food trucks. This is dear to my heart, since I went to Rutgers and appreciate a good "roach coach". Def get the pork roll from Johnny Pork Roll. Playabowls is always a refreshing choice. Try 'em all!
Stay away from the empanada truck. My daughter's friend waited a half hour for a dish of undercooked, soggy French fries and after almost an hour, my daughter is still waiting for her empanada. The woman at the counter said they had a rush of customers. Its a Wednesday and they're not at all crowded. If you want don't want to spend half your beach day waiting for your lunch, get a delicious sub from the other food truck.

If you are on the higher avenues on the beach, this is a great place to go to grab something to quick to munch on while you're enjoying your day. There are a variety of options available. Seating available too.
