We had such a wonderful dinner at Pascal & Sabine! The atmosphere was perfect, the food and drinks were excellent, and the service was top notch. Our server, Mackensie, was absolutely fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Fantastic French restaurant tucked away in Asbury Park. One of our go-to places when visiting the area. Outstanding service and a great atmosphere to relax with colleagues, family, and friends.
Outstanding raw oysters from Prince Edward Island in Canada.
The tiger shrimp were fresh and meaty with a nice cocktail sauce and lemon.
The Madame Smith burger had a thick ground brisket patty and was accompanied by a pile of hand cut fries. Delicious comfort food!
The brandade croquettes had a thin crispy outer shell and a nice warm fish interior. Accompanied by a creamy/tart sauce.
The fromage du jour was a selection of four different cheeses that complemented their nice French bread.
Special thanks to Phil for sharing his knowledge and recommendations about the food and drinks, and for helping our large group out for a great dinner! Thanks to Maria for her conscientiousness and help with the food delivery and table clearing.

I feel bad for leaving this review because the locals love this spot so much but I must tell my truth.
We started with a salad, steak tartare, escargot, fluke crudo, and oysters. Finished with mussels, steak, and fries.
Steak Tartare: Supposedly Wagyu but more like ground beef from your local grocery store. No flavor - should have brought my salt and pepper with me.
Escargot: Tasted like it was seasoned by a child with a stick of butter and bottle of garlic salt.
Oysters: Sucked. Mignonette was terrible.
Fluke Crudo: Unlike anything I’ve ever had. I don’t have another fluke crudo to compare it to but it was terrible and confusing. I think the fluke wasn’t great and it was drowning in melon water.
Mussels: Didn’t have much flavor but were cooked well and better than all starters.
Boneless Ribeye: Overpriced but not bad. $80 felt steep compared to other similar priced steaks I’ve had. Tasted closer to a $60 steak. I think you are paying mostly for size.
Again, I feel bad because the locals love it, but my friends and I think this restaurant is suburban shopping mall quality. The steak tartare and other starters were offensive. Just avoid those and all good.

Food and service outstanding, thanks Kayle. Escargot, steak tartar, and flonder crudo, cosmopolitan and espresso martini fabulous. The milk chocolate pot de creme with caramel and sea salt is phenomenal.

Maybe it was just an off night, but overall we were disappointed with the food. The pâté was hard and the Porterhouse for two was thin, skimpy, and not really enough to share. Service was also lacking—our server disappeared for quite a while, and we had to go to the bar ourselves for drinks, which the hostess ended up bringing over. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great dining experience. That said, the restaurant does have a very nice atmosphere.

The service made this place an unforgettable gem ! Our waitress knew what to recommend, had a backstory behind each dish and a pairing to go with! I was very impressed with their cocktails, mussels and the french onion soup! Didn’t get the hype of the escargots here, had better . But the service made us want to make this a regular date night spot !!

Andrew was an outstanding bartender/server as we enjoyed an early dinner at the bar. The escargot is beyond compare to any French restaurant that we have experienced. We were not rushed and Andrew paced our entrees so that we could fully enjoy both the appetizer and our main course. Our only wish is that the live music could start at 5:00 PM since Happy Hour concludes at 6:00 PM. Otherwise, it was perfect!

had an absolutely wonderful experience here on a date! first off, i was really enjoying listening to the dj music walking up to the restaurant but i didn’t know it was pascal and sabine playing it until we got right in front which was a pleasant surprise. quite fortunate that we came on a friday lol. the interior is beautiful and very romantic!! waiter was very helpful with our questions about the menu and the bread here is GREAT let me just say. started with the garlic cream soup and this was a bit disappointing as it tasted like a slightly savory thicker milk, maybe it was supposed to taste exactly like heated milk idk. but we enjoyed it i guess 3.5/5. i got the coq au vin, chicken was perfectly tender and the mashed potatoes were absolutely divine, i love a ton of butter with my mashed potatoes so i was very happy to taste that they definitely did not go light on the butter. shallots were good too, but i think i just didn’t prefer the winey flavor of the chicken. people who enjoy wine must like this though! bf got the mr smith burger. BEST BURGER IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE wow i was not expecting this!! the bun was so SO SO soft, it felt like cotton candy. the burger itself was so flavorful and juicy even though it was ordered medium, but it just exploded in my mouth. phenomenal!! fries were good too but we had to ask for condiments. i will DEFINITELY be back to try the mrs smith burger.

My girlfriend and I went to Pascal Sabine tonight. We sat at the circle bar and had the absolute worst service The Bartender was slow and unfriendly. I don’t plan on going back anytime soon. We ended up leaving after about 15 minutes of waiting for a drink. It wasn’t like the bar we were sitting was busy in comparison to the rest of the restaurant.
