We love(d) Porta so much we had our wedding here in 2023 but every time we’ve returned since I’ve been slightly more disappointed each time. It’s starting to feel like a rip off for the amount of food you get for the cost, and a lot of the servers are sort of standoffish and unfriendly, and the hostesses are pretty clueless/inexperienced.
Our son and now daughter-in-law held their wedding at Porta Asbury Park on Halloween. Everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect, the food delicious, the staff attentive and professional. They set everything up exactly how the newlyweds wanted it to be set up and did it in a very short amount of time. Extra shout out to our son and his new wife for organizing a spectacular evening.

Super loud, expensive, and extremely limited menu (especially if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg). Picnic style seating so when it's crowded you could be bumping arms with the stranger next to you. Pizza took obscenely long to arrive!
