Stopped in here for some dessert, it's a candy store with typical candy you'd see in any other candy store. They also got sweets that are homemade in the show glass. I got a chocolate covered smore and a M&Ms Reese's cup, both were pretty good but definitely pricy, $18 for both items. Nice employees and it's a cool shop to check out.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting River Street Sweets in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and it was a delightful experience. The turtles are an absolute must-try – each bite is a perfect balance of caramel, pecans, and chocolate. I also recommend the Irish Potato. Beyond all the delicious treats they offer, what truly stood out was the warmth and kindness of the owner, Robin. Her passion for sweets and dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere make the whole experience even sweeter. River Street Sweets is not just a place for exceptional treats; it's a testament to the incredible impact a person like Robin can have on a community. This business radiates positivity, making it a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for genuine hospitality.

I've been coming to Asbury Park for the last 15 years for the zombie walk. This past Friday I stopped with my boyfriend and we chatted with a really cool guy there. Not sure of his name but he has some anime and video game tattoos. He was so amazing! Super friendly and had the nicest things to say. We came back on Sunday with friends and bought more goodies to take home. If you haven't stopped here, put it on your list and make sure to go! It's definitely worth it!

Candy apple was horrible, took one bite and threw the rest of it away. Also bought 2 peanut butter cups, but the employee only put one peanut butter cup in the bag. Paid $23 for 1 candy apple and one peanut butter cup. Will never return.

So many sweet treats! They have a whole section of their homemade chocolate and then regular candy on the other side of the store. Oh and popcorn - and ice cream! You want it, they got it. I got an assortment of goodies. My favorite was the chocolate covered marshmallow, super fresh and the chocolate was absolutely delicious. I also tried the chocolate covered wafers, nutter butters, s'mores and the rice crispies covered in fluff peanut butter and chocolate. I truly got a bit of everything. One thing I can say is the chocolate is fresh. The price reflects that but at least you know you're getting quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and efficient, the layout of the store was easy and approachable. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the are!

We stopped in here to buy fudge, and had a fun time perusing all of the colorful, tasty options. Their cherry chocolate walnut fudge is really good, as are their saltwater toffies. It's a bright, colorful, cheerful place.

Terrible, horrible salt water taffy. Tastes like chemicals and too much sugar. Can’t even identify the flavors. Salt water taffy should be the headliner at any shore candy store! I won’t go back.

First time customer and the last time! The kidd that work there were rolling their eyes because I was asking for differant types of chocolate to purchase! Very rude and on top of it way over priced for chocolate that wasn't better than Hershey chocolate! That's very sad The owner needs to hire nicer kids to work there!

I should give only 1 star because they're ruining my weight loss journey...lol. Seriously, though, I am truly addicted to this place. My fiancée goes down to Asbury Park every weekend and always brings me back their crazy good peanut butter cups. I keep telling her I shouldn't be eating them, but then there I am, eating two giant peanut butter cups! Really awesome sweets, and I do highly recommend them as long as you are careful! Lol

The only thing sweeter than all the goodies here are the owners, Robin & Carl! Such fabulous folks who give so much back !

Place isn’t cheap but they do have some good treats. The homemade white chocolate peanut butter cup were my favorite. The ice cream also hits the spot. I did almost lose a tooth on the chocolate covered marshmellow. It had to be sitting there for a while. The M&M peanut butter cup was also lovely. I like the chocolates in here aside from the one off marshellow treat. Check this spot out! 3.5 stars.

I just ordered a candy apple from the Asbury Park location that had mold on it! The people inside were friendly when I ordered but safe to say I will not be returning.
