Vibes and service was excellent. I think the food was good, but nothing crazy or different. I would say the only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the Matsuri because tortilla chips were quite stale.

Came across this place after a day at the beach. Since I love sushi I was really excited to try it. The sushi I must say was great but the regular dishes, NOT so great! Had the chicken Teriyaki, fried Tofu and a burger. All of it was bland. The tofu was hard and harder to chew, the chicken was tasteless and the burger was way below average. This place should really stick to sushi ONLY because that's the only thing we enjoyed. It's a shame we spent $130 here!

Surprisingly, I’ve had better quality sushi in a mall food court. Had stomach pain all night after eating here. WAY too overpriced for the quality/presentation/inattentive service you get. Only positive experience of the place was the atmosphere. Emailed the restaurant about my awful experience and never heard back, so hopefully they can take some feedback from this review instead.

I haven’t even left the table yet and I’m leaving a review. Our server was Matt, such a great spirit. The service, food and atmosphere is phenomenal. I tried the Kani Salad, Chili Shrimp, Ebi Salmon Roll, and my entree was the Salmon with Yuzi sauce. We had blackberry margaritas which are tasty. Everything gets a 10/10 so I will definitely be back!!
Parking: Inexpensive parking and spot to park not hard to find, arrived around 6pm.

We been at this restaurant several times and it was fine,solid experience, but not this time. I ordered calamari and it was practically cold and when I commented to waitress she said she sorry . Sushi roll i got was ok ,nothing special. However,when it was time for check I mentioned calamari were cold again.Waitress made a face and answered me with attitude basically meaning who cares,nothing I can do and didn't offer to take out of check.. All this is unfortunate cause I liked this place before and visited every time we come to Asbury park
