They were very busy but we were seated expeditiously and enjoyed the food and service. Music is a little loud for us old folks but we would still return
This was our first visit and we will definitely be back soon. The appetizers (wings, Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes) were amazing, but the star of the night was the Lobster Gumbo. One of the best meals I've had in a while. While the food was delicious, our server, Adrian was attentive without being overbearing. It was a busy night, but he was always there when we needed him. Cant wait to be back.
The food was awful. The chicken was over cooked, dry, and on the burnt side. A tablespoon of gravy. Potatoes were tasteless.
Probably not coming back after this visit. Burger was a hockey puck and wasn't asked how we liked it cooked. Lobster Mac and cheese was not good. Pasta overcooked and barely and cheese. Appetizers were good but how do you run out of biscuits during prime dinner rush? I figured that would be a staple.
This restaurant is on the boardwalk in a very busy part of Asbury Park. However, they did not plan their food ordering well for a 5pm reservation on a Saturday, 4th of July weekend, and were out of a lot of dishes (both specials and house staples). I paid $16 for a Caesar salad that had no croutons (which they neglected to to let me know before I ordered it), so it was just lettuce and dressing. They overcooked our burgers (medium rare was well done and rare was medium). Our waitress was terrible and made a face at every one of us when we ordered. She neglected our table, and failed to let us know what they were out of, so it took us longer to order. The cocktails were delicious. The rest of the food was good, so it's a shame the service and lack of items put a bad taste in our mouths.
I was producing a show at The Stone Pony so thought the location of the Palmetto was perfect which it was. However....3 of the 5 entrees had to be returned. 1 was made over (undercooked swordfish), the other 2 were replaced. Our server and the manager were wonderful. I absolutely will not be returning.

Service was excellent! Friendly and attentive. Food was great. We had wings and smash burger. The drinks were awesome. They made rum punch to order They have the quality of fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. We ate outside, our overall experience was great and we would opt to return as our first choice on the boardwalk!

I went to this establishment on Sunday September 1st at around 3pm. Had lunch with my 2 year old daughter, wife, and mother in law. The waitress was great, the food was not great, but neither of those are why I'm leaving a bad review. I accidentally left my wallet there and didn't realize it until the next day (Labor day) I called their establishment probably 15 times over the course of the next 2 days to verify they had my wallet ( I live 30 min away and wanted to make sure they had it before driving) not once was my call answered. I also left a message on their Instagram which went unanswered. I finally decided to drive there and long and behold they had my wallet. Before the manager (guy with large beard and glasses) would give me my wallet, he told me that I was banned from there for an "incident" that occured the other night (wasn't there at night). I then asked what incident he was referring to and then he FALSELY ACCUSED me of threatening a bouncer. I was there only once EVER for a lunch WITH MY FAMILY. So I am now banned for an incident in which I had nothing to do with. This place deserves the terrible Google rating that it currently has.
