I gave 5 stars because I really want to see this place succeedI've tried this place several times in the past month.. I even convinced my friends to have lunch her on a Saturday..which was a mistake because they all hated it..Everything seems inconsistent EXCEPT the Salmon Sammy.. its6a bust if you want a salmon burger.. the Cuban on tne other hand was AWFUL.. 1) Cuban sandwiches included mustard w) Cuban sandwiches are pressed .. these were dry and just awful.The ATMOSPHERE is bland... almost bland as the Cuban sandwich..Try harder please... please

I cannot speak on a typical dining experience but I recently threw a brunch party for my sister's 40th birthday and I could not be more pleased with my experience. The manager, Stevie, was very responsive throughout the planning process and they were flexible with how we wanted things arranged. I was a little skeptical with having a partially opened room but it turned out to still feel very private being that it was it's own space. Even though the weather was rainy and dismal it was still a beautiful view of the beach. Guests commented on the great service and everyone left happy. Would highly recommend if you are considering planning an event here.Vegetarian options: We had the vegan sausage as part of our brunch package and it was delicious!

Place is pretty big. Inside and outside dining. Ordered calamari as an appetizer which was good. Lobster roll with chips, the roll was good but the chips were over cooked. Lobster mac and cheese my friend really enjoyed and the portion size was huge. I ordered the chirashi bowl- which is like a poke bowl. I really enjoyed it, it was light dish it was just missing some spicy mayo sauce. Cocktails were way to sweet, not worth the purchase. Service was okay.

My dining partner and I split bbq wings, which were okay. I had the Spinach salad. Every bite with dressing was fishy, and I'm mot sure why because it was pomegranate dressing. I do like fish, bit that was very off putting. I didn't realize it was the dressing until after I requested more. The steak tacos were very good, according to my partner.

I enjoyed my lunch at The Break. We sat outside and had a nice view. I had a burger and enjoyed it. My drink was tasty and refreshing. I would stop by for lunch again.
ASBURY PARK: The Break AP opened its doors this year and is right on the boardwalk! Leashed dogs are allowed at their outdoor seating and they are the best seats in the house with oceanfront views! They have a large food and drink menu with seasonal specials make it easy to enjoy a great meal. Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk from 9/15-5/15.

Great service, fun atmosphere, live music with a dance floor ~ overall a pretty good experience. The food was pretty good. A little overpriced. The sushi is great! I'd go back just for that alone. Our drinks were a little too strong to enjoy though. Great addition to the boardwalk though!

I've been here twice in the past 6 months. The location is picturesque overlooking the ocean and in the midst of the boardwalk action. We ordered spring rolls and a quesadilla for a shared appetizer. The food was so greasy that it was barely inedible. The entrees were mediocre. Probably won't be back for the food. I miss Langosta Lounge.

Highly recommend! I came here on a whim with my fiancé, friend and her husband. What a great find! The location was perfect, right on the boardwalk. We had the oysters for our appetizer and the braised short rib for our dinners. The food was all amazing and really hit the spot.
