The food was bad, the freshly squeezed orange juice was not actually fresh and the food was ready-made with poor taste. The service was terrible and rude. Won't go again.

Nice little restaurant. People are rather unfriendly. Quality of food is only average. Quality of coffee is poor....plus it was served lukewarm. Had to wait a long time for food to be served. If you are in a hurry, suggest that you look for alternatives!

Hi we had a pot of tea for two ,a toasted teacake, slice of coffee and walnut cake, two warmed scones with cream and jam. Nice ladies serving. The tea came to about £14. We really enjoyed joyed it and was excellent value

While the prices are very reasonable I’m disappointed with the quality of the breakfast especially since it’s not reflected in other reviews. They were happy to replace my beans with mushrooms which was great however the only hot items on the plate were the mushrooms and the scrambled eggs. Bacon was lukewarm and the hash browns was stone cold. The sausage was tough to cut which suggested it was pre-cooked and reheated in the microwave. The girl who served me was fantastic and very attentive, maybe I was just unlucky with my food. I didn’t complain as I’m not comfortable making a fuss in such a small establishment which was pretty full at the time.

This gem is located near Holiday Inn London - Kensington High Street. We highly recommend that you try them out. The food was delicious, we had breakfast. Service was lovely. Prices were not expensive.

A very charming friendly tea room, we had a lovely lunch. The food was good, served quickly by friendly and helpful staff. A lovely local place in a great location.

This place was ideal for us as we're at an event in the Copthorne Hotel. After waiting for a short time we were seated upstairs. It was a small area but cosy for the 5 of us. Our lunch was excellent and they were really busy but made no errors. Reasonably priced and even had a glass of prosecco which wasn't expensive at all. Staff were lovely. Highly recommended!

At lunch time in the area, I entered this cafe, mainly because I noticed it was full of people. This is for me a good sign. I had a pleasant surprise. Good food, excellent service...

Went to The Muffin Man following a recommendation from friends who’d gone whilst staying at a nearby hotel where breakfast is c£17 pp, that would almost cover two breakfasts at the Muffin Man. The cafe is small and packed with tables, there is a small area to eat upstairs which gets very hot but there’s a fan which helps, kids love upstairs as it feels cosy and is nice to look down at other guests. The breakfast menu is extensive, from cereal, toast or pastries to hot cooked breakfast - you’re spoilt for choice. I had the porridge which is really worth the wait, the pancakes and pastries are also good. One small thing is that they tend to bring toast before porridge so by the time you’ve had porridge or cereal your toast is stone cold. The staff are busy and most of them are very pleasant but one is stern and never smiles, I think she is stressed and can’t help but show it. All in all a great little cafe, we didn’t try lunch but anytime we passed it was packed throughout the day so I’d say it’s popular with tourists and locals. Also a lovely seasonal display in the window. The costs are very reasonable for this part of London, go on give them a go.

To find a place like this in London offering good food a service...at a reasonable price is great.

We ate breakfast here for three days on the trot while staying at the nearby Holiday inn. Large selection of breakfast choices, from porridge to pastries to full English and everything in between. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Fantastic scrambled eggs. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Happy to adapt menu items without any fuss and to rearrange tables to accommodate large groups. Place was clean and Covid friendly. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend the breakfasts (we didn't try anything else)

Amazing interior and very warm atmosphere. Tea was very nice and the scones were also satisfactory. Service was quick and there was a wide range of teas and cakes to chose from.
