I want to share that this place DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. They did not allowed my friend with Psychiatrist ADA License because it was a dog and manager stated that by Federal Law he did not have to accept it. I showed him the license and where it shows in the law that he cannot do that and he did not care and flat out denied entry. Never in my whole life I have seen someone so callous against someone with a actual disability. Please stay away even if you don't have an actual service dog as people with disabilities are not second class or inferior people

The Watermark goes above and beyond at all times! They did an unbelievable job hosting our wedding reception. From inquiry to execution, Russell and his staff made a dream come true for my wife and I. We will never forget how amazing a night we had. We discovered it before seeing a show at the Stone Pony and instantly loved everything about it. Once we learned they hosted weddings, it was a no brainer. All of our guest loved the food, the atmosphere and the amazing staff. Thank you Watermark…we love you. Whether it’s a cocktail and a small bite or a full blown wedding, the Watermark is sure to impress. Do yourself a favor and check this AP landmark out…you will 100% love it.

Do not have any event here. We tried to have a wedding after party at this location because it was in the same building as our reception at Stella Marina. We tried to rent the space and were denied that option by staff. The bouncers and staff were extremely aggressive and rude to multiple guests, elderly guests were turned away for not having ID, the environment wasn’t conducive to mingling, and it was overall a really bad experience. We left and went to a different bar for a better time. If you’re thinking of having an event here at any time other than lunch, don’t.

I want to start by saying that I have never felt it necessary to write a bad review in my life until my experience with this establishment yesterday evening.
My boyfriend and I are from West Virginia and were here over the weekend for a wedding. Once the wedding concluded we all decided we were going to meet here. All of our other friends and even myself got in no problem. It wasn’t until my 27 YEAR OLD boyfriend walked up that they decided to deny him entry for a “fake ID.” This is after he showed 5 other forms of ID including insurance, debit card, credit cards, etc.
I ended up calling over a nearby cop who scanned my boyfriend’s ID in his car and told the bouncer that it was real in which he STILL denied him entry. The bouncer claimed that he worked as a cop for 40 years. I find that very hard to believe considering that he cannot even tell a real vs. fake drivers license. Even the cop was in disbelief.
It was clear to us that this was simply just a power trip and instead of swallowing their pride and admitting being wrong, employee of the month, Paul Blart, chose to deny us from being with our friends for the remainder of the evening. After reading reviews from the last month or so it seems like this bouncer guy is the only real problem this place has. Do not waste your time or money here. Your time and money would be better spent at an establishment that actually respects you.

So disappointed… I moved out of state in high school and came back here now that I’m above age with my REAL ID.
After seeing my ID the security began comparing them and looking for a manager. Okay, I mean, I need my identification to get on my flight home. But it’s real so I guess it’s alright.
When the manager came over I could hear him say “it’s a real ID, but if you don’t feel comfortable…”
I don’t understand why I would have to walk around Asbury with multiple forms of ID because I’m out of state. Needless to say, we didn’t get let in because security doesn’t know how to recognize a real ID. Pretty disappointing and after reading the rest of the reviews about security it makes a lot of sense.

In my experience, Watermark is the perfect spot to grab a drink before heading over to the Stone Pony summer stage. I’ve pulled this routine so many times and it always is the perfect way to set the tone, enjoy views of the beach, sip a deliciously crafted cocktail, and keep an eye on what’s going on across the street.
For the first time, I went inside instead of just hanging out on the outer deck and was so delighted to see how beautiful the lounge was! The staff is super kind and overall just a very pleasant experience. I enjoy it every time :)
Most recently, we ordered a Hugo Spritz and a Margarita - both delicious.
