Needed to stop for dinner soon but when we saw this place while stuck in traffic, decided to see if they would serve us even though they closed within the hour. They were so accommodating and kind to let us stop for dinner so late and didn’t rush us at all. All of the staff was so friendly. The food was so delicious, I ate my leftovers before we even got the rest of the way home!
The Mountain View chalet is consistently good in terms of food and service. The one area they could use significant improvement in is the appearance of the restaurant on the inside. It's clean, don't get me wrong. But it's stuck in the 80s and early 90s. It looks like a place where your grandma and grandpa would go, and a large part of their audience is older. It would be nice to see them invest some money and do an overhaul of the inside.
We have been dining at the Mountain View Chalet for over twenty years and every meal was excellent. Our server Nate was exceptional and helped us with our dinner orders. The strip steak was juicy and tender, chicken murphy was hot and delicious and the Seafood fettucine was fresh and tasty.....even the bread was great. We always know where to go for a great meal. Keep up the good work!!
