“This place is special…. Very special. The food is incredible, the entire farm to table concept there is simply amazing. We had a delicious meal with great ciders and picked up some cider, fresh veggies, eggs and probably the best sausage we’ve ever had to take home. The team is so friendly and I cannot not recommend this place enough. Well worth the 45 min drive for us and we will go back again… & again & again.“

“Always a nice place to stop into when I am in the area. The food is very good and consistent. If you had a meal here three months ago and liked it, the food will be just as good if you go back now. I have been here about six times and have tried something new each time. They have a good range of food options, so it is great that the quality does not fall off in any section of the menu.“

“Got a chance to stop in at Designer Dawgs in Clinton, NJ a few days ago. When checking out a new spot I usually try to order a dog “all the way” which is chili, onion, and spicy mustard. Here they call that the “Rt 31 South”. I will say right out of the gate that it was a $7.95 hot dog so I was nervous. The woman who owned the spot was very friendly and helpful.This was a naturally cased dog that she pulled from the water and tossed onto the flattop to finish. I enjoyed the flavor and snap from the dog. This was a big one, it came on a small hoagie roll instead of a hot dog bun and with the chili it filled it out. I’d guess a plain dog here would be small in that roll. The chili had good flavor and consistency but was different than what I’m used to, it had a zing to it…maybe some vinegar, I couldn’t tell. I enjoyed it though.The dog was served with popcorn and it was in a dog bowl so I thought that was cool. There was no indoor seating but there was a nice little courtyard out back where I ate. Fun decorations and trinkets inside.For this dog and a can of soda it was $9 and change. I felt like it was a bit steep, but I didn’t leave feeling upset about the purchase. “Amazing vegan food. The Setanta used for steak is shaved thin and marinaded in secret home marinade. The bawl I had ( Seitan Lovers Bowl) was tasty and well balanced. The Aioli complimented it well. I wanted more when I finished my bowl. The sandwiches are offered on chiabata bread. The cheese stake was sublime, but prepare for a sloppy meal. Everything was supper fresh. The owner was very friendly and informative. You could truly say they prepare and serve each meal with love! Tge outdoor seating is perfect for a nice springy day. The indoors sitting area is small, but there are a few tables there. Pleasant atmosphere with subdued music in background.“

“Great food and atmosphere. I originally came in for a Guinness, not knowing I would order food. After looking at the menu, I was torn between the Steak with the onion sauce or the Beef Shephard's pie. I ended up with the second option, which was the right choice to go with my beer--cheesy, filled with gravy, and thick with mashed potatoes. And the food didn't take long; it came within 10 minutes. The staff was expedient and attentive to their work. They have a variety of drinks and beer, but you can't go wrong with a Guinness at an Irish bar. Different TVs have different channels to keep you entertained. 100% would go back and maybe order the steak next time. Overall, 10/10.“

Packed with flavor and loaded with cheese and meat.Chicken ABLT is a phenomenal sandwich, served with some of rhe best house made chips I've ever had.The Narrows Burger, I cannot say enough about. I mean did these people come and burn your house down after you ate the "good food"? Gimme a break! Then there's "Johnny". Let me tell ya something-"Johnny" is a clown for leaving 1 star. A clown. I don't have a problem with someone having a gripe-that's all well and good. But if you look at ONE-STAR JOHNNY'S reviews, he almost exclusively gives out 1 star to the establishments he reviews. So, we have a complainer that thinks giving 1 star will get him attention. Well...he'll get attention alright. That's why I've awarded him the name "1Star Johnny". I mean, he says he's "eaten there 20 times" but regrets it every time. Bro, it took you TWENTY TIMES to come up with that? You're a CLOWN, 1 Star Johnny...Give us all a break!!! Now that THAT is outta the way...as for the food, the service was friendly. The appetizers as well as the food were very good! We had several different items and they were all prepared nicely. The shrimp was cooked perfectly in the dish I had. We enjoyed everything and would totally return. Try it for yourself. Friendly service as well as solid food. That's a keeper. Beware of the clown reviews like 1 Star Johnny. When you go and eat the food, you'll see what I mean...“
