We miss sitting downstairs, however, the amazing wines more than make up for it! I literally haven't had a mediocre glad of wine there ever. Every one has been amazing. Pair it with a pizza from down the street and you're in for an experience!
My wife and I visited Amalthea for the first time on a cold, snowy winter Sunday and were genuinely impressed. Walking in to a wood-burning stove and cozy reception area immediately set the tone. One of the owners personally walked us through the tasting options and then guided us through a thoughtful, unhurried tasting that included grape varieties, wine styles, and the winery’s history. It felt personal, not scripted.

I’ve been to Napa several times and...
My wife and I just visited the winery for the first time yesterday and we had an outstanding experience. It was a cold, gloomy winter Sunday with snow moving in, and we loved that we walked through the front door to a wood-burning stove and a cozy reception area. It was there we met one of the owners and another staff member and they explained the various options for different flights we could purchase for tasting.
If we made our selection, the owner took us into the next room...
