Food was dry and tasteless. Customer service was not the best for the price they charge for Food. I left more than 1/2 my food on the plate waiter never check on us after he served our dinner. Only conversation was when he asked if we wanted to order dessert ans when it was time to pay then it was all smile for him.

The food is horrible..... overpriced appetizers and......HOW CAN YOU MESS UP THE MOST BASIC INGREDIENT OF A PAELLA DISH.... DO NOT ORDER THIS DISH BECAUSE YOU'LL BE SHOCKED THAT THEY DON'T USE RICE. THE RISOTTO THAT THEY USED WAS UNDERCOOKED AND REALLY MESSED UP THE WHOLE DISH. LOOK AT THE PICTURES FOR PROOF.

I REPEAT..... YOU WILL REGRET EATING HERE!

So maybe an unfair comparison to the Amada in Philadelphia, but it is just ok. Service was somewhat spotty and disorganized, although they had a great manager on duty. Menu was a bit abbreviated from the Philly location. Sandra tasted watered down from my recollection. Physical aspects were very nice. I would go again, just was not exceptional.

Disappointment

Yesterday we visited Amada Restaurant. It was a place I had been to before and really liked. Even though we were staying at a different hotel, we chose to go there specifically to have a Spanish beer. However, we were told that we could not enter because of my service dog and that the restaurant was “not pet friendly.” Even after I explained that she must be with me due to my medical condition, they dismissively told me, “Go to the lobby, show your documents, and come back with the approval sticker.”

After doing what they asked and returning, they examined the sticker for an unnecessarily long time with an unfriendly expression. Then, instead of seating us at the bar, they placed us at a table isolated from everyone else. For a place that appears to be so high-quality, this level of disrespect and insensitivity was truly shocking. On my previous visit, there was a female manager who was very kind and clearly understood the purpose and importance of service dogs. The male manager on duty this time, however, seemed more focused on standing beside the hostess, chatting and laughing, than doing his actual job.

Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. As soon as we sat down, the menu was brought immediately and we were asked for our drink order. We felt rushed into ordering. We originally planned to sit at the bar and have just one beer, but since we were forced to sit at a table, we ordered a few tapas as well. Despite this, the server — following the manager’s instructions — kept coming back to the table repeatedly, asking if we needed anything else and essentially pressuring us to leave. Even though we told them we were still eating, they brought plastic to-go cups/boxes and the check when I hadn’t even finished half of my first beer.

Naturally, they did not offer even a sip of water for my service dog, who lay quietly on the floor the entire evening.

If you plan to go dressed “fancy” and have no health conditions — and are not accompanied by a service dog, a child, or an elderly person you care for — you will probably have no issues. Because those who do not fit into that category are clearly treated poorly.

PS: You can see my dog in the attached photos and better understand what I am describing.

I wouldn't come back. The service was great, but the best thing we ate was the manchango cheese. Cheviche special was a tough and rubbery mix overwhelmed by jarred cherry peppers. The whole bronzino was horribly salty. Potatas bravas and cauliflower (broccolini?!?) sides we unremarkable. I guess that's $200 at an ac casino tho.

I want to be clear, this restaurant is spectacular! The food is great! The online staff is the best I've seen anywhere and there are a few real stars that seem to have been there a while! That said, I sent a friend to dine there this evening and they saw the manager threaten to reduce a bussers hours in front of customers because she wouldn't take a cut. In any event, this is highly unprofessional behavior from a manager, embarrassing for the employee, and very off-putting to patrons. I hope this finds the right ears for a reprimand at least.

Probably the best food at Ocean. Amazing food made to order so the time is a little longer for food but there are plenty of delicious appetizers and drinks to keep you busy. Keeps you separate form the crazy casino area so you feel like you're in a completely different building. A great view of the ocean as well

Amada in Atlantic City is incredible! It’s easily one of the best dining experiences in Atlantic City. The tapas were outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The sangria was perfect! refreshing, not too sweet, and paired perfectly with everything we ordered. And that ocean view? Absolutely unbeatable. The mix of atmosphere, food, and service makes Amada a must-visit spot for anyone looking to relax, sip, and share great plates with friends.

16OCT.2025 I celebrated my birthday here and it was my first time here. Me and my mate have a wonderful time.

As soon as we were greeted and when we left the vibes were AMAZING(not because it was my birthday). The lady at the reservation spot was awesome and so welcoming, to the person who seated us, along with every person who placed our food on our booth (cabana like)table, right down to Roger that recommended and served us up on some food sweats/common delicious 5 courses tapas.

The spot we suggested to sit was superb and just right. Our food tapas and appetizers tapas was great. Great right down to the dessert and my birthday glasses of champagne. THANK YOU ROGER for adding to my amazing birthday dinner night!
