Came Here For My Birthday (weekend )…I frequent fine dining restaurants all over the country, this by far was worse experience at a steakhouse ever , the waiter (Jose) took our order and he never came back to check on us , even after we told another waiter that we were waiting for a long time for our food (40mins) . When they finally brought out the food the steak was under cooked (medium rare) . My Wife asked Jose for a manager and he smiled like being smart . And The Manager did come over after five minutes , hisattitude was very nonchalant. I have never had a manager or management person not apologize for poor service. He took the food and walked away. Do yourself a big favor DONT NOT GO THERE !

My husband and I had a great experience here tonight.Food2 oysters as a starter: 1 West Coast and 1 East Coast. Both delicious in their own right.Mac-n-Cheese: rich, creamy, delicious, right amount of baked crust on the top, large portion.Maine lobster tail: served hot and had a lot of flavor.Bone in ribeye: cooked to a perfect medium rare, charred, served with a side of Bearnaise and their house made steak sauce. I'm not a fan of steak sauce and loved this sauce.Crem brulee: perfect in every way.Banana cheesecake: so good that my husband actually ate most of it and he never eats cheesecake.Service: servers know how to read the room and weren't over bearing. Waters always topped off and plates cleared timely.Atmosphere: dark not not too dark, felt private even though the next table is two feet away, music was the right level. Our reservation was 6pm and the restaurant didn't start getting busy until we were leaving around 7:30.Overall, a relaxed and fun dinner. A great way to end a fantastic day.

My husband and I had a great waiter food was amazing atmosphere on 10 and wait was not long now onw waiter who was not waiting our table but the customers near us was rude and gave a bit of a racist vibe especially since our lil neighbors thought that my husband look like 2pac he insisted on buying us a drink the waiter butted in waved him to not buy us anything and snuck drinks to them all night we sat not far from the bathroom and where the cooks were this happened tonight 4 6 24 around 930p.m it's so weird we turned the drink at 1st the customer insisted I said yea ordered my own drink it was the principle and energy of the waiter for me he was awkward I hope he read this and learn to mind his buisness and not to do gestures in front of paying customers who help keep the doors open and a job for him to have

Dinner at Oceans was simply amazing. The food was excellent, service was sharp and the atmosphere was very nice. Drinks were on point!

The food was over priced, over cooked, and everything tasted horrible. The appetizers were nothing to write home about, the meatballs tasted like Campbell's, the fried burratta tasted like a frozen mozzarella stick with crappy tomatoes and a failed truffle sauce. And the dinner was the absolute worst! We asked for medium rare since the chef recommended medium for the $150 tomahawk. It was well done. And I know what black and blue and Pittsburgh style are, but when I say well done I mean I cut the pieces in half and they were grayish brown all the way through with absolutely no pain. They took it back and brought out another one and it's like they forgot half of the steak, it's supposed to be a 40 ounce steak and it was more like 12 oz, and still overcooked. How the hell can a chef a sane mind recommend medium for the ribeye tomahawk and still over cook the hell out of two of them? Save the money, go get the tacos from the district. Also drinks sucked.

We’ve been to every steakhouse in Atlantic City and ocean steak remains in our top 3! We absolutely loved everything we ordered , food was delicious flavorful and perfectly cooked! I recommend the filet and creamed spinach! The bread they serve before dinner is delicious and the veggie cream cheese with it is so good! The champagne / drink options were plenty and the atmosphere is just right , not too dark but not bright (I hate a super brightly lit steak house lol) perfect restaurant 5 stars!

I had dinner at ocean steak this weekend and it was exceptional. The service was top notch. The food was fresh, good portion and good flavor. Mac n Cheese was delicious . The drinks weren’t short on alcohol either. Overall a great dining experience. Would definitely go again.

This place has outdone my expectations!!! Service was incredible as everyone is super friendly and very attentive. The drinks were great as one was plenty enough. The food was delicious as my boyfriend and I split a filet and lobster tail with the mac & cheese and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was sooo good. Will be dreaming about this place until we go back.

I’m an oddball who goes to a steakhouse and does not eat steak, so I guess take this review with a grain of salt.My party was sat right away, even though we got there about 30 minutes before our actual reservation time, which was a pleasant surprise.The dining room is has an upscale feel. Staff are very attentive. Our main server was not overly friendly and didn’t introduce himself but he was completely professional and polite. I don’t need nor do I want a sugary sweet server. But he was always nearby and came over straight away when eye contact was made. Support staff was right on top of things with bringing and filling drinks and bringing bread and main courses.We had a salad, scallops, and sea bass. My salad was very good. The scallops were also quite tasty but the sauce was a bit too rich for my taste. I would have preferred a lighter sauce. The sea bass was generous but unexpectedly oily and heavy. It was good but definitely needs to be balanced with a vegetable.If you’re into steak, I did see other patrons’ orders. Portions are large. The table next to mine ordered a filet with bleu cheese topping and a side of lobster Mac and cheese. One of those two dishes had an odor I personally didn’t love but didn’t seem to bother my dinner partner.It is a nice restaurant for fine dining. I would come back. I highly recommend making a reservation well in advance. They book up fast, especially for early dinner slots, when people are trying to eat before attending a show later in the evening.

I very rarely say any restaurant rivals Arturo's which closed down in AC. This restaurant rivals the previous Arturo's restaurant which is a rare honor this is an excellent restaurant everything is excellent. If its a special occasion or you want your dinner to be special stop looking and make your effort to come here its worth the trip.Tips for improvement: Better Deserts they must be better (although I don't eat desert often so not big for me).Many Signs near the elevator is a must so people can find the this very rare restaurant overall a 10 out of 10 restaurant I don't hand this lightly at all as I come from a family that can cook professionally this place should have more 5 star reviews.My reviews I ensure are honest and unbiased excellent restaurant 10/10 overall

I've eaten at high-end steak houses up and down the east coast. This was my first time here at Ocean. The service and atmosphere were amazing! Then our Tomahawk Steak came and wow!!! Perfectly cooked and super tender. Definitely on my top 3 of steak houses! Highly recommend if you're in AC!

Spent over $500 for 2 dinners.Surf and Turf.. returned cold food, not done.Sea Bass, bathing in salty liquied.Apps. Loved the huge ShrimpApps. Tuna Tar Tar serves, again sitting in salty liquid. There is no taste past saltyService good, nice.Ocean Steak yea got to admit you could have done better!Parking: Spent $1000. Over night stay.Had to pay for parking?Oh Ocean!?
