American Bar & Grille NEVER disappoints. We come here every single time we stay at the Borgata. The ambiance and decor are warm and inviting and the seating is such that you don't feel crowded, even when the restaurant is packed. The servers and their teams always provide exceptional service and food & beverages delivered very promptly. This visit on 7/26 we were a party of 5 and had exceptional service from Vincente who took excellent care of us. The chef is amazing...
Came in around 7:30pm on a Sunday with no reservation. Only seats available were at the bar until 8pm. No problem. Space was cleaned up right away and our orders taken. Woodford Old Fashioned was fine. The pear martini was mixed and poured in front of us with a nice little flourish. And it was delicious with surprisingly delicate pear notes. Was looking for light fare so we just ordered Brussels sprouts, truffle garlic fries, and spicy Italian sausage pizza. Fries were amazing...
Food was great. Started with gem salad and k-town chicken. The salad was fresh and delicious. Only issue was for a salad with peaches, more peaches and make sure they are sweet. The peaches were lacking and flavorless. We shared the pork Milanese and it was tender and cooked perfect . Needed a touch of salt. Also had the summer corn side. Drinks were great! It was noisy but overall a great time. Will be back. Here are a few pics of eaten food!
