They flawlessly executed a plated dinner for 80 guests and full bar service for our off-site wedding at Kathedral Event Center. Everything was seamless from start to finish. The team crafted an innovative, custom menu that perfectly captured the vibe of our day, and our guests are still raving about the food. From the hors d'oeuvres to the entrées and desserts, everything tasted so fresh and absolutely delicious. Special thanks to Chef Michael Anthony for an unforgettable meal and to our incredible maître d’, Bill, who ensured service ran smoothly all night long. Love the Byrdcage! The vibe is right and everyone there makes you feel welcomed and right at home. To say I feel extremely safe when at the Byrdcage would be an understatement. The management and staff go out of their way to make sure every single person that walks through that door feels like family. They really understand what hospitality means, and they put it into action. The drink menu was well thought out, and the food is fabulous. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous! I cannot recommend this place enough.

NOT A SAFE SPACE. My friends and I went to go dance and have some drinks at an event there and it was either the manager I was told; He kept misgendering my friends intentionally even after we corrected him. This guy was short tan and taking pictures of us his name was bill. We were told it was for social media but I haven’t seen those pics. This bar is cosplaying as an ally when there’s actually no real LGBT+ events happening there.

Right in the heart of the university district. It’s a great place to go and just be. A wonderful neighborhood watering hole. The vibe is happy, easygoing and comfortable. The decor is fun, eclectic and fits the theme to a “T”. I have eaten there a few times and the food is what dreams are made of. The Consistency of the food is a rare find these days, you can tell the Chef truly takes pride is the food that’s served. The drinks are delicious and smooth and made the same each and every time.

was stopped at the door today during AC Pride festival and was told there was a $10 cover. this cover charge was not mentioned at all on their instagram page, despite having multiple posts up about this event!!!!!!! and other posts mention if there is a cover charge or not, so this felt like i was being turned away for a reason. im not coming back.

I had an excellent time at Byrdcage tonight! This is a fun queer bar that both felt like a safe safe and a place to party. When my friend and I arrived, we realized there was a $10 cover. We did not have cash, so we had to walk to a nearby ATM. The owner offered to walk with us, since it was late at night (and we are both queer women). This made a great impression- clearly this bar is committed to making queer people feel safe and comfortable in a real way. The music was lots of fun. The large dance cage is a memorable feature of the dance floor. I would absolutely come back here again!

We made the haul from Longport at last and loved everything about the place. Great drinks and service and the food looked fabulous. Next time we’re going to do an Uber instead of driving just to extend the evening. Fabulous to have this space available down the shore! Look forward to coming out again and supporting.

Hat's off to the Byrd Cage!! We (Atlantic City) finally got a restaurant with good food. I've eaten there a couple of times now and both time the food was consistently good! The server Joe was good at what he does , he was quite knowledgeable of the menu as well as the Sunday with Sinatra special. Chef Mike even stopped by our table just to say hello. My wife and I are looking forward to returning for another good meal. Thank you and good luck. Geno
