We finally got to check this super fun spot out while we were in AC for my Birthday weekend! From the moment we walked through the door it was loving, warm and oh so welcoming!
Julio was our bartender/server. We enjoyed full meals while sitting at the bar being mesmerized by the Bird Cage playing on repeat on the TVs. We had no plans on staying after dinner, for no real reason other than we were just going to go back to the resort BUT we ended up headed to upstairs to be curious, to check out Kareoke and stayed until 10pm! It was a blast! Everyone needs to go here. Take in all the decor, the love and the acceptance ♡

Went on a Friday night at 7pm. Unfortunately, it was too early for a show upstairs. Piano player was terrific, albeit very loud. Birdcage movie was playing on all the tvs. Fun! Wait staff was incredible! Food was not great. We had brussel sprouts, burgers, chicken sammies & salads. Nothing special. Will return for the shows at some other time, but will definitely skip the food.

My partner and I came in tonight on a Sunday for dinner the theme was frank sinatra with a specialized Italian menu offered . The only other patrons of this place where 5 straight women that Were at the bar wasted and being very loud and one of these women came over to our table harassing my partner and i. Asking if we like women or men and that she thought he was there with a woman . I specifically asked to be sat at a table and not the bar because we came for dinner only. Not to drink and get drunk. This establishment should not allow people drinking at the bar and getting drunk to approach people sitting at tables and dining. We were not there to party. Our server was new and was trying but didn’t know much about the menu . The food was ok not great but not horrible. Middle of the road.i got the pasta bolognese and my partner got the chicken francaise and we ordered bruschetta for an appetizer. They only offer one kind of pasta which is linguini I’m not a fan of linguini pasta in anything. . My partner said his drink was good. He ordered the golden girls drink. I had wine because I was driving. The Pinot Grigio I ordered was table wine. Nothing special.we didn’t try any deserts because I felt very uncomfortable being there after the Patron at the bar came over to us uninvited and I just wanted to leave after that. I would give the atmosphere 0 stars if I could. They played frank sinatra none stop and the bird cage movie playing the entire time on tvs with subtitles. That’s cool if your into gay stereotypes I guess…This place seems like a wanna be gay bar based solely on gay stereotypes or kitch. As an actual gay man I didn’t feel very welcome and was uncomfortable the entire time we were there. I will say my partner enjoyed the atmosphere but I absolutely did not. We will not be back again.

I went there on Thursday when my friend never been there before I thought we would give it a try. I literally was the best experience I ever had. Food was amazing. Can’t say more about our bartender cake. She was wonderful and suggested on the menu. I would never try. She didn’t say how good the food was Five stars. I even talk to the owner. What a wonderful place. I would definitely be back.

I highly recommend you consider The Byrdcage when planning any kind of private event. We had the most awesome party for 50 and everything was perfection from start to finish. The food, drinks, set-up - everything was just perfect and the management and staff could not have been more accommodating or easy to work with. I can’t wait for another reason to throw a big party at The Byrdcage!

Had fun. Got drinks and food and stayed for a show. The ambiance was really nice. The food was good the drinks were great. They had movies on instead of sports which was a nice change. And with captions!! The show was fun to watch but there were only 2 single unisex bathrooms. One upstairs and one down which was annoying to wait in line with 5 people for how busy it was. They aren't big enough bathrooms to have like 2 stalls though I don't think so it makes sense. And the seating upstairs wasn't the greatest for watching the show. Because of the layout the seating is like in the back and on the right and it like cuts into the side kind if in an L shape and the bar runs along the wall on the left so when we were sitting in the one seats kind of close to the bar it was great until the show really started going because then everyone was just standing up talking and watching and you couldn't see anything and the seats all the way to the right of us were like blocked by a wall. There were a couple people sitting on the little tables so we could hear the show but not really see it for more than half until we went and sat at part of the bar but even then it was bits and pieces. But it was a good show! The crowd was nice/fun and danced too and the owner(i think not sure) was super nice walking around talking to everyone and being friendly. Id go there again. And probably a little early to get better seats for the shows upstairs.
