Always excellent here, we come three to four times a year and leave happy every time, this time is was a little loud, that's okay, lots of people having fun is good! Our server got lost a couple of times but the place was busy, and we're not in a hurry at all. Overall, once again we loved our experience at the Chart House AC.
We had the halibut which was moist and had great taste. The filet with crab cake was excellent as well. Wonderful meal and would recommend the Chart House. Service was excellent great drinks as well.
TLDR: Excellent food, great ambiance, not impressed by service.
Quality of Food: Amazing! My compliments to the chef. We had a party of nine without a single complaint. I personally ordered the Braised Short Ribs which were melt in your mouth phenomenal. Bread was really good quality, however, noticeable that it was probably from earlier that morning. I heard compliments from the table on the calamari and filet mignon also.
Quality of Service: I am truly disappointed with the service we received during our visit. While our drinks were refilled regularly and the food was distributed accurately, the overall attention to detail regarding food allergies was severely lacking.
From the beginning, we made it clear that there were severe gluten and dairy allergies at our table, and our server initially seemed attentive. However, when the steamed asparagus arrived, we were casually informed after the fact that it contained breadcrumbs—a clear oversight.
Later, our server suggested we order the lava cakes early since they take over 20 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, we had already finished our meals and were waiting for the check long before anyone came to take our dessert order. To make matters worse, the individual with the severe gluten allergy was recommended the lava cake, which is not safe for them to consume.
The coffee orders were also mishandled. One guest who requested coffee with no cream received cream; another who asked for no cream or sugar was given both, while I, who ordered both cream and sugar, received neither (easily fixed by passing the items to the correct person who ordered but a lack of attention on the server’s part).
Lastly, we were celebrating an anniversary, and while the thought of providing a special dessert was appreciated, the execution fell flat. The individual with the gluten allergy was given a mousse cake with a cookie crust. To add to the confusion, the server offhandedly mentioned there were nuts in the cake.
While the intention to make the experience enjoyable was clear, the repeated missteps regarding allergies and attention to detail were incredibly frustrating and, quite honestly, unacceptable. I do not wish to get anyone in trouble so I have purposefully waited to make this review and used gender-neutral references as I know everyone has their off-days and certainly hope this was an off-day for this server.
Environment & Ambiance: The restaurant is very nice and provides a cozy scene. We were seated towards the back facing the casino, so our view was not waterfront, but I can imagine that would have been nice if we had made a reservation in advance.
Pricing and Concerns: You are paying for a 5-star restaurant, averaging $$$ for a party of two. No other concerns to note.
Comment and Recommendation: Would I recommend this establishment? The food alone is worth the recommendation, however, I also feel as though the same quality of food can be found at a different top-tier resturaunt with potentially better service.

Went there for happy hour. We had 3 apps. The mussels were small and so salty we couldn't eat them. The oysters Rockefeller were bland and by the way, 3 for $12? How do you split 3 oysters between 2 people? I make better at home! And last but not least, Calamari "my favorite". Unfortunately there was more deep fried vegetables than calamari in the calamari dish! Great atmosphere/ disappointing food

I stopped by to place an order of lobster mac & cheese to take out (you should try it...wonderful). Danika and Gage greeted me warmly and were so friendly! I felt very comfortable waiting in their lobby for my food.

We came for my girlfriends birthday. They were aware of the celebration. Let me start we didn't expect anything special but just a great meal. The food absolutely fantastic! Service awful. We had a drink & ordered. The food was dropped by a food runner, at the time my drink was empty. Our server Ken walked by a few times and we were not checked back on until a busser had cleared our plates. Were not hard to wait on coming from a restaurant background, but keep our drinks coming. After dinner we were just over the experience.
Again food absolutely delicious! Had Ahi tuna, and girlfriend had sea bass. Will return, but may just try the bar.

Meal for 2 misleading. It is 1 meal split between 2 people. Raw seafood was good. Scallops did not have that taste you expect and were gritty. Potatoes over cooked. It took 2 hours to get out of there. Slow service.

Whoever is cooking here needs to be fired and find a different line of work. Whoever chose the chefs should just give up and close this place. It's a total SCAM. Use your money in a business that actually cares about food.
And the customers that rate this place 4 or 5 stars?! Did they loose their taste buds in some unfortunate nuclear accident?
This is NOT fine dining. This is so far removed from North Jersey or Manhattan level food, it's like a different planet. We would have been better going to the boardwalk for a chicken sandwich or crepes.
We're willing to pay for good food and visit michelin star restaurants in NYC for special occasions. Today we went for an event in Atlantic city and because another restaurant was closed, we went here. What a waste of money.
Welcome bread basket was a medley of stale sweet potato chips mixed in with leftovers of 1 old pumpernickel roll, pieces of parmesan crisps, and cuts of basic bland baguette. Butter was fake. Whatever happened to fresh rolls, or home style sourdough and real butter?
Cod had zero flavor, mushrooms tasted sour, and rice was bland. Salmon was not fresh, overcooked to a crisp and sat on a strange sugary sauce. Nonsense flavors mixed in odd ways making everything worse.
I can cook better fish or really any meal at home for 15$. I can buy a loaf of sourdough in ShopRite for 6$, smear some lard on it and it would still be better than this nonsense dinner.
