Dining at Chelsea Five restaurant in Tropicana in Atlantic City was wonderful ! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the the ambiance was nice. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
Waitress was amazing. Brought out cake and sang happy birthday. Food was great flounder and stuffed shrimp- better than anything we have eaten.
Food was amazing, view was spectacular and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely return.
Absolutely amazing meal and service. The room is intimate with beautiful views of the ocean. I highly recommend! Ask for JD . She gives amazing recommendations and is very knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back!
Beautiful room! Crab meat cocktail was awesome! Entrees very good and service good! Would definitely recommend.
Seafood platters were delicious and plentiful. Our waitress Jadranka was excellent and went out of her way to sing Happy Birthday and bring us Birthday cake too. It was a very memorable evening.
Went as a special treat while in AC. My guest and I ordered the filet mignon, one medium rare and one medium both which were way over cooked when they arrived at the table we sent back and about 1/2 later received another steak one was fine but the other was raw. My guest finally changed her order to stuffed shrimp and it was very good. Over all the meal took over an hour and 20 minutes to be delivered. Will never go back. Waitress was very kind
Our reservation was for 4 at 6:00pm on Saturday evening. We arrived about 10 minutes early but were seated. We placed our dinner orders plus appetizer, calamari, and 4 waters. They were very busy but at 6:40pm we noticed some of the empty tables had guest come in 25 minutes or so after we were seated and orders placed. They were being served their food and they had ordered the same items 2 people in our party had ordered. We finally got waitress attention and wanted to know what had happened to our food and pointed out the people that can in later and were served before us. She got a bewildered look on her face and said she would talk to the chef. Then here comes a man with our food. The French onion soup was lukewarm and French onion soup is suppose to be served hot not cold. But we were so hungry we ate it anyway, the 2 of us that ordered it. We had to ask for salt and pepper twice. Our served seemed to be more interested in the younger dinners than us senior citizens. We've eaten there before so I know this was an unusual occurrence. But too many times of poor service can destroy a great restaurant. Hope our server learns good service is how she gets great tips. Sorry Chelsea 5 but I thought you needed to know this.
Sat down at 5:40pm and received our food at 6:45pm. Atmosphere is great but not sure what happened with the food service
We came here for our anniversary, we are very glad that we did. The seafood combination was delicious, as was the clam chowder and lobster bisque. The chowders are entree sized portions so be prepared lol. Our server was JD and she was absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend to any of our friends and would encourage them to ask for JD as their server. Thanks again.

On Sunday, my party dined at your establishment for the three-course prime rib dinner. While the appetizers, including the homemade Caesar dressing and lobster bisque (after an initial mix-up with clam chowder, promptly corrected), were excellent, we encountered issues with the main course. The prime rib we ordered was instead a roasted NY strip loin. Although the accompanying asparagus was well-prepared, we were disappointed by the mix-up. Due to a lack of server attention for 10 minutes and our hunger after a 4.5-hour drive, we chose to eat the dish rather than send it back. We intended to address this with the manager, but no one checked on our table during the meal. The food runner quickly cleared our plates, and the server delivered our desserts (chocolate cake and cheesecake, both delicious) to the wrong individuals without pausing for discussion. Upon leaving, I spoke with the hostess, identified as the Food & Beverage Manager, and showed her a photo of the incorrect dish. She dismissed the concern, insisting it was prime rib and suggesting that a NY strip was a better cut, a statement I found inaccurate. She offered to have the executive chef address the issue, but the sous chef, appearing unkempt, arrived instead. He also insisted the dish was prime rib, despite clear visual evidence to the contrary. As a former executive chef with 25 years of restaurant experience, I understand that mistakes happen. However, I was disappointed by the lack of accountability and professionalism in addressing this issue. I hope this feedback encourages constructive dialogue and improvement. Please feel free to contact me for further discussion or to view the photo of the item.
This is a fine, upscale restaurant to choose during your AC visit. I went in feeling low on sugar and the staff brought me the drink requested before we were seated! The meal was very enjoyable. The entree vegetarian option was the best cauliflower steak I've eaten. My dining mates were happy with their drink and food choices! This staff have the game of hospitality down pat!
We celebrated our friend's birthdays by having their favorite meals in a beautiful setting in this wonderful restaurant!!!! Look forward to our next visit!
Food was excellent! Our server was wonderful except for the fact that it seemed like she was tending to every table in the place. They need more servers.
We come to Chelsea 5 most visits to AC and are never disappointed. The food was fantastic. Our regular server, JD, is wonderful. We love to see her when we are in AC.
