Our hostess was wonderful! Greeted us and sat us at a lovely window table that we had requested. Our server Giana was very nice and efficient and our food was very good! Unfortunately, their billing system leaves much to be desired. We were staying T the Tropicana and had been told previously that we couldn't do a room charge and so we've been paying by credit card. Imagine our surprise when a room charge - not even for the amount we'd spent - shows up on our bill at hotel checkout! The desk said I had to go to Chickie's and Pete's to resolve it. The manager - Jake - was EXTREMELY helpful and came with me to the desk to tell Tropicana to remove the charge from my bill. He was able to review the charge and camera and see it wasn't me! Unfortunately, even though we were told it was taken off my bill from the hotel, my credit card statement says otherwise. So, if you're a guest at Tropicana, you'd better really check your room charges because their system is flawed on both ends and you too may end up paying for someone else's meal!!

One of my favorite locations. Has upstairs, downstairs and outdoor boardwalk / beachfront seating. Open layout, great service and food. Always fresh and great quality seafood. This review is for the To Go Counter on the Boardwalk-ordered the crab fries and a virgin pina colada. The pina colada was okay, I appreciated that it wasn’t overly sweet, however it was quite watery. The crab fries were hot, but could have used more seasoning. I know a lot of people swear by this place, but the value for the price of a watery drink and seasoned crinkle fries from a freezer bag wasn’t there. I was not a happy customer I wanted to watch the Phillies game and the male bartender said football is on all tvs Really I said football season just started Phillies game is on today to clinch the playoff spot

The wait staff was on top of things. They were great. Food was very good too! Definitely recommend the warm lobster roll.

Food was Fantastic! The service left much to be desired. The waitress had to be told to attend the table after the hostess asked us if we had been served. The waitress did give an excuse that her assignment had changed... “okay” I thought, stuff happens. The food was delivered by another employee. The meal arrived without the soup that my husband had ordered. And also, we had no silverware. I had to ask the hostess again to please provide us with some silverware so we could eat.. Again...GREAT FOOD THOUGH! The place was NOT AT ALL BUSY !!!
