I'm never going to let any of these restaurants off for be over priced. What's next with pricing? Assume we cannot afford to go out to eat at all but the food was outstanding. 
Me and my friend had an amazing experience. I've been to Nobu a few times. We got the edamame, the Wagyu dumplings, and the Wagyu that was served on a stone plate and it was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend, always!
The food was outstanding, particularly the umami sea bass, and the atmosphere was perfect for an early dinner with my husband and adult son. The one criticism we had was the inattentive service. We spent close to $500 and the service was worse than we've experienced at our local Olive Garden. I've dined at several Nobu restaurants and the service was well below what I've come to expect.
