The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very over-worked and under staffed. The music was fitting for the atmosphere and not too loud. The small seafood tower was fresh and welcoming. Then it went downhill. The bacon was tiny and the smoke was a little off. All the meat was tough. The dry-aged steak was not cooked right and chewy. All of the food needed salt. The apple cider creme brulee flavor was ok, but almost watery. The pineapple upside-down cake was tasty though. I'd go back just for the seafood tower.

$1.50 oyster deal is amazing. Price and taste great. Try these(Shrimp Taco, happy hour tower, Oyster, Crab finger)

Overall was disappointed with the happy hour. My wife enjoyed her raw shellfish but very disappointed in my so called clams casino. It was extremely heavy on breading, which doesn't belong on clams casino, and the clams weren't separated from the shell. It should be called clams oreganata as that is what it was. The zucchini sticks were watery and the breading was over cooked. Overall a big disappointment.

We frequently dine at Dougherty's Restaurant and also eat / drink during happy hour at the Raw Bar side. We dined at the restaurant side tonight for Restaurant Week and all 6 of our meals were outstanding and our service was top notch, fast, & friendly! Thank you!

For such a hustle and bustle area. It was nice to be able to relax. The mood was calm and the waiter was patient. Food tasted great.

Excellent service and food. The cheese pie is a must.

Great food. We had a party of 6. Here’s what we all got:
1. Filet mignon with garlic butter with sweet potatoes with honey butter and broccoli

The filet mignon was amazing and so was the broccoli ? with it being enough to share with 2-4 people

2. Crusted tuna
It lacked flavor and the crab risotto was amazing

3. Salmon with risotto.
Nothing special was ok

4. Short rib potatoes and veggies
The braised short rib was moist and fall of the bone and was spectacular with amazing carrots

5. Dry aged 22 oz steak ? with black truffle butter, horseradish. The steak was good and was shared between 2 teenage boys

I would like to add that I was not happy with the sweet potato as it was advertised to be honey butter but tasted more like cinnamon butter

The lobster Mac and cheese as a side was amazing and so was the Brussel sprouts were good.

Overall 5 stars because there so many yummy stand outs. We really enjoyed it

We celebrated my boyfriends 35th birthday and we are extremely impressed to say the least. From the beginning the service was amazing and the atmosphere didn't disappoint. Our waiter Nick was absolutely amazing & attentive the entire time. We had no complaints about any of our dishes finishing almost everything we ordered. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly made by our waiter, Nick. Highly recommend for any occasion. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I recently visited Dougherty's Steakhouse & Raw Bar to celebrate a family member’s birthday. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was excellent—our server consistently managed drink orders and timely food delivery—the overall experience fell short in terms of value. As with many places in Atlantic City, the pricing felt high relative to the quality.

The appetizers were lackluster, with the shrimp scampi having an off-putting, almost chemical taste. My Filet mignon, ordered medium rare, came out more medium than expected. On the plus side, the lobster mac and cheese was a standout side, and the sweet potato, though large, was also quite good.

In summary, Dougherty's is a decent spot for happy hour and cocktails but not ideal for a special dinner.

We ate at the bar side 2 of our 5 nights in AC. The bar serves the steakhouse menus and the bar menu. The filet was best we had (thus repeat visit). Also, the steak tartar and lobster rolls were expertly done. Orange crush drink is my favorite. The service was impeccable. Ask for Michael he was very helpful and made sure both evenings were great!

Their happy hour is incredible, and I always make it a point to come and get their seafood towers and crab fingers. The ambience is nice, and I always enjoy how pleasant the waiters are. Thanks for a great time during vacation!
