On March 16, 2024, my sister, brother, great nephew, and myself, went to Atlantic City to celebrate and honor our late dad's birthday. Our dad loved a good steak and to honor his memory we decided to go to this establishment. We were not pleased at what occurred at the restaurant, my sister was eating a dinner roll and to her disgust there was someone else's hair in the bread. We immediately informed the waiter, who was kind, but the manager approached my sister and was questioning her as though she was not telling the truth. The food was not that great for the price that they charged for the meals. The manager failed to offer my sister some type of compensation for the hair that was in her food. I would not recommend dining at this establishment if you were looking for fine dining.

Ehh.. the happy hour prices are good but don't let it fool you. I think everything is frozen. The oyster prices are good but very small. The zucchini fries are big frozen chunks. We had to send them back. We ordered the hummus is that also looked dry and tasted weird. Our sever was super sweet but probably won't ever come back here. It was busy but not too loud with the live music. The calamari was rubber and stuck together. 2 starts only for our sever and $5 high noons.

I came here for a quick bite with a friend. They have a daily happy hour which is great for raw bar, few appetizers, and drinks between 4-6pm. Clams are $1, oysters $1.5, sliders $8, calamari $9, and coconut shrimp $10. The clams, oysters and shrimp were on point and very fresh. The sliders and calamari were sorta 'meh'. Sauce and flavor were good, but the looked like they were sitting room temperature under a heat lamp. Service is decent and friendly.

Went last night with a group of 8. Had a very nice table in a side room with a feel of privacy but not secluded away from the action. Our waitress was great as was the food and drinks! All in all the bill was really reasonable since we had appetizers and lots of drinks along with our meals!

Came to AC before a show. Wait staff was excellent. Drinks were well poured. My steak was a little bit overcooked for my liking. Overall experience was good. WouldProbably come again next time I’m in Atlantic City

All good, and as we expected from a Dougherty restaurant. However, the one negative...on request for coffee refill, we're told, "we don't do refills"...not the way we expected to end what was an otherwise good dining experience.

This review is just for their happy hour. We were staying at the Hard Rock and we walked over here. One of the reasons I like it is because there's a cut through that's inside so you don't even have to go outside to get to the restaurant. They have happy hour during the day and also late nights you have to get there early because it does get really busy. Happy hour menu is large and a lot of good seafood items. On Friday night, they had live music and the performer was really good. Enjoyed him a lot. We will be back for happy hour the next time we go to AC.

I was very happy coming here. The NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER - salt pork, yukon gold potato, surf clam was really outstanding. Maybe some of that seafood specialty is flowing over from Dock's which they also own. The CAESAR SALAD - hearts of romaine, parmigiano-reggiano, crouton was just as good and for my main meal, the BONE-IN RIBEYE 24oz was really cooked to perfection. It was a great piece of meat too, so the combination made for an experience that rivaled nearly any top steakhouse I have been to in recent memory. Service was very attentive but not annoying and sitting at one of the tables next to the bar on a slow night was like having the best of all worlds. The place itself feels right for a steakhouse and overall I was very happy with the experience. Yet, this is still Atlantic City. On that same slow night there was a single person seated at the table next to me. He was muttering low curses and other inaudible words to no one. He ordered the French onion soup and asked for bread with butter. He enjoyed that while also enjoying the two Heineken bottles of beer he wasn't served and to increase the ambience of this place he attempted to light, as in with his lighter that had an unusually large flame, the battery operated table candle twice. I got all of this from my peripheral as I was truly doing my best just to enjoy my meal in quiet. I made no complaint or comment and this is a tough one from any perspective, especially for a slow night. I'm not even saying Dougherty's should have done something as I think that would have been wrong too. I believe in the end it is the ambience and reality of AC, so take it for whatever value you want to give it.

Food is good if you can get it hot. The staff has to walk pretty far from our tables to the kitchen. I'll be back for the bugers and crab claws. The happy hour menu is nice too!Only gave the atmosphere a 3 because it's a little noisy.

I'm giving this 4 stars alone because I have receipts and this place was great ...ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS FOR HAPPY HOUR ! I had so much food I couldn't eat it all ...Please go for Happy hour ..it's located in the Resorts hotel /Casino. I sat at the bar..the decor was a bit mix matched; However ..there are two sides ..maybe the other side was more romantic / symmetric. but I came for the "appies" I ate so much oysters and clams. The customer service was spot on...I wouldn't say personable ..but who cares it was happy hour ..just a fun moment ..food was not too hot ..but yet again good for the pockets ..grateful for the portions and the price
