Owned by Dock's Oyster House/Knife and Fork. One of the best Happy Hours in any AC casino. Can keep it simple with apps, handhelds or burgers at the bar. Or make it fancy and go for the more fine dining steak house experience. Highly recommend.

This is not a high end steakhouse. The steak was tough to cut and the meat lacked flavor. So disappointing!!!!!!

Dougherty’s Steakhouse at Resorts Casino – An Epic Surf & Turf Feast in Atlantic City!

Looking for the ultimate steakhouse and seafood experience in Atlantic City? Dougherty’s Steakhouse inside Resorts Casino delivers in every way — upscale, unforgettable, and packed with flavor.

We started with their Colossal Seafood Tower, and trust me — colossal is an understatement. It came overflowing with Alaskan king crab legs, lobster tails, freshly shucked oysters, clams, lump crab meat, and jumbo shrimp — all ice-cold, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh. It’s the kind of tower that makes the whole room stare. 🦀🦞🦪🍤

For entrées, the Seafood Linguine was a rich, savory masterpiece with delicate crab meat folded into al dente pasta — the sauce clung perfectly to every bite. Then came the Twin Lobster Tails — buttery, tender, and served with elegance. And of course, we had to try the T-Bone Steak — thick-cut, expertly charred, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth. It’s the kind of steak that reminds you why Dougherty’s is legendary.

The ambiance? Elevated but relaxed. Service? Polished and attentive. You can feel the history and hospitality of the Dougherty name throughout the entire experience.

Whether you’re celebrating a win at the casino or just craving next-level food in AC, Dougherty’s is a destination. A five-star experience across the board.

Ate here for my friend's birthday party. We had 25 people, all sat at a very large table. Swift and professional service, food was fine. The seafood tower had delicious crabs and prawns. I got so full even before the entrees arrived that I didn't have any room for the entrees.

If you are ready to eat early, you must get yourself to Dougherty’s for Happy Hour specials! The food and drinks are on point but it’s first come first serve. We enjoyed filet sliders, fried oysters, kobe beef sliders and coconut shrimp.
This is located inside Resorts Casino.

I woke up to a reservation here that they reserve for me. I am not going to lie the oyster were good. But the bone in was amazing. They made it medium well. It was so soft and juicy. The minute you touch it, it was coming off the bone. They asparagus was good as well. I would definitely come back for that ! Our waiter was very nice forgot mention

I will not be going back. My bone in rib eye was tough then I ordered prime rib tough n grizzle fat then I ordered filet also over cooked. All the veggies were so under cooked hard n extremely salty. The server was not helpful they ask how was your meal? But when you say anything wrong they do not help. On the way out I spoke to manager she was also unconcerned would not look me in the eye n dismissed my concerns. She said: then maybe you should eat some place else. So I will n I will never be back. I miss Gallegers steakhouse this place I believe also owns the Knife n Fork restaurant so they should be ashamed treating regulars like this. I use to go there alot until the food changed they must have a cook not a chef. And the hostess is rude she took 4 couples with no reservations I n my husband had reservations n got in after these 4 couples how is that fair? Very disappointed. Will not go back or recommend.

Happy Hour at the raw bar is always excellent! The service is too-notch, food is great, drinks are so good and the price can’t be beat. Plus there’s music!
I’ve wasted lots of time and money on expensive restaurants in the area and this is the only one worth returning to.

Our server, Jonathan was wonderful. Our food was delicious. However, the hosts (the girls taking you to your seat) were rude. We didn't have a reservation; however, looking in the restaurant it was easy to see you didn't need one. It was fairly empty. I asked to sit in one of the booths She told me it was reserved. I pointed to anther one. She told me that one, too was reserved. And yes, a third booth I pointed to was also reserved. Ten minutes later, she seats two gentlemen at a table similar to the one my husband I were sitting. The one gentleman pointed to a booth and said he'd like to sit there. She sat them there!! Mind you, my husband and I had just drooped a lot of $$ there for dinner. It was my 65th birthday, and I wanted to go there. Also, no one came and sat in any of the booths!! They remained empty when my husband and I left an hour later. I mentioned this to our waiter Jonathan who apologized for our experience and told me he was going to let the manager know. In a minute, the manager was at our table wanting to know what had happened. She apologized, saying their behavior was unacceptable, and that she would be speaking with the girls (I really hope she did). . She comped our drinks and our dessert, which was very kind of her to do. So-- if you go there, see these two young girls (they both have long dark hair and look very much alike) and tell them you want to sit in a booth, and they tell you they're reserved, I would question it. I wouldn't believe a word they said.

Uncharacteristically poor food, choice, and service at Dougherty’s restaurant at Resorts Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City .. on Monday, June 16, 2025.

My wife ordered filet mignon for the first time in her life and wasn’t quite sure how she wanted it prepared so she just asked for well done. Sensing my wife’s difficulty / uncertainty with her choice, the waitress said she could butterfly it so it wouldn’t come out too dry.. we agreed.. unfortunately she neglected to do this and the steak came out very well done and dry and my wife, not being one to complain, just tried to eat it as it was, but just took one bite and didn’t enjoy it at all.. the most expensive bite ever?
