Choose from quesillo-Oaxacan cheese, jamón (ham), jamón y huevo (ham and egg), chorizo (Mexican sausage), carne asada (beef), carne enchilada (spicy pork), pollo (grilled chicken), milanesa pollo (breaded chicken), milanesa res (breaded beef), Oaxaqueñia (Oaxacan style, includes mole), or Cubana (Cuban style, includes egg, Mexican sausage, and beef.
Sopes
Three thick corn tortillas topped with choice of pollo (chicken), bistec (beef), carne enchilada (spicy pork), al pastor (marinated pork), lengua (cow tongue), or veggies, lettuce, tomato, black beans, sour cream, and cheese.
Tamales
Made of corn masa and steamed with banana leaf. These traditional Oaxacan tamales are filled with chicken, mole sauce, verde sauce, or raja filling. Tamales come in order of four.

Huarache

Tlayuda

If you're on the hunt for a fiesta on your plate, El Tacuate is where you want to be! The food? Pretty darn good! While the prices might make your wallet do a little shimmy, the portions are so massive that you'll likely leave with a doggy bag (or two!).

Both my dining partner and I were defeated by our generous servings—seriously, it's like they want you to take a siesta afterward! The flavors were vibrant, and each bite felt like a mini celebration...

SUPER TENDER AND JUICY. Service was great. Portion was outstanding and so fully me and my bf took our leftovers to go. Definitely coming back here again. Price is a bit high but definitely worth it!

Food was pretty good, nice sized portions and great service. Only issue I had was with the steak quesadillas, they tasted pretty awful once I got back to my hotel. Besides that the Birria tacos were delicious!
