I went to Good Dog last night with my boyfriend because I raved to him about the Philly location and how amazing their Good Dog burger was so we popped in a little before 10pm. I asked the bartender for a margarita with Espolon Blanco and Blackberry and it was super delicious. Bartender Gianna asked us if we were ready to order and we needed a few minutes but then we sat for a while waiting to order our food because she never came back over. Finally after making her round down the bar, we got her attention and ordered our food. The Guinness beer cheese and pretzel bites were delicious. My boyfriend got the Short Rib Grilled Cheese which he said was also delicious, but as for my Good Dog burger, I could say otherwise. Bun was hard as a rock and cold, the patty was hot on the outside but the second I bit into it, ICE COLD. The cheese didn’t even have any signs of melting (which I distinctly remember “gushed” out of my burger that I had at the philly location), just a cold ball of cheese sitting in the patty. I would have traded for something else but the bartender never came back over to check to see how our food turned out. I figured I would ignore that and at least get a few drinks in, but the bartender spent a majority of the night, sitting on one of the ice bins talking and flirting with the boys sitting in the middle of the bar. We stacked our food to get her attention so we could grab the check. She took the food with her and didn’t care to ask why I only took two bites of the burger.I had two margs in a span of an hour and would have liked more but we chose to close our check, which her dropping the check was the best service we got besides my two delicious margaritas. The couple that sat next to us, started eating their food as we closed out and complained about their food being cold too. In general, the bartender could have and should have done a better job. I will not turn away from Good Dog because of my bad experience at the AC location, but I will definitely be calling to see who the bartender on will be. No offense. I just want good customer service as every guest should have. ??♀️

Had the Cape May Always Ready on draft. They serve it in a frosted glass, my god that was good. To eat I had the gochujang chicken sandwich, which was great. The fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. The bar tenders are very friendly as well.

Wanted to love this place because it's pet friendly. But nope- it's only pet friendly when it's. I've outside otherwise dogs are not allowed inside. This isn't on them- apparently it's a town code. The place is cool inside. Lighting is nice and dark and the bar looks really nice. The food- had the grilled octopus, Mac and cheese, and vegan cheesesteak. Octopus was dry, small and smothered with too many potatoes, onions, olives, and peppers smh. The Mac and cheese, runny, and the flavor was just not there. The cheesesteak was the best thing I tried- still nothing out of this world as it was missing any form of "cheesiness" fries are thin and wilted- just not my cup of tea. During the hotter time I'm sure it's a pretty cool place to bring the dogs.

The food was below average. Out of 5 people only 1 person was satisfied with their food. The octopus wasn't good. The wings were tasteless and the fish tacos were ok. The steak salad was confusing with potatoes in it. The best part was they were open late on a Sunday night. Also it looks like it's a jumping place on Friday or Saturday

Very good food, much fancier than the typical fried unhealthy bar food. Very cool space beautiful decorated & doggie friendly indoor & outdoor spaces. Service is good. Crab cakes at seafood fest were amazing! Ty Dena is the best bartender.

Everything in this place is freshly made—even the sauces and dips are all made in-house! The owners did an AMAZING job renovating this building and the atmosphere is just simply the best! Whether on the main floor or on the 2nd floor overlooking the beautiful city, this place is a great hang out or date night! Perfect selection of microbrews plus they support the local distilleries and breweries! We love places that support local and Good Dog AC is definitely one of those places! Highly recommend you give them a try!

Its official floks Good Dog Bar has moved into one of my top three positions for my Atlantic City Wing Tour. The wings were cooked perfectly along with the fries. Also, the double burger I was told by a person in my party was impressive. If you arrive after 5, try the upstairs bar area. The staff was super friendly and hard working. I look forward to my next visit to Good Dogs next summer.I do not receive any kind of compensation or discounts for my reviews. I am an average customer just like you. I am a person who values cleanliness and quality food in a safe environment. We work too hard for our money to spend it in establishments that do not value us as customers.
