Amazing food!!! They kept the restaurant open for us since we arrived kinda late and were so kind and hospitable. Everything tasted AMAZING. And holy moly, the cornbread was so weirdly delicious! Definitely check this spot out!

Amazing food, don't miss out on this spot, all fresh and delicious, clean and nice atmosphere.
Habeebi's is a Philly-based family owned Muslim restaurant. The Quran is proudly on display.
The service is phenomenal. The staff welcome you in and chat.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The interior is open, clean, and inviting.
The food...
This is the opinion of a Central Jersey individual whose family is from North Carolina. My taste preferences differ than those from Philly, SC, or other locations. This is an honest unbiased opinion.
Greens - vinegary
Smacking Cheese - flavorful, a little salty, dry
Potato Salad - vinegary and flavorful
Beef and Beans - very sweet
Plain Rice - very good
Fried Whiting (4 pieces come with the dinner) - fried soft, meat dry
BBQ Brisket - flavorful, saucy, and very very yummy

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for halal food, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was taken aback by the incredible flavors. Everything is seasoned to perfection — rich, flavorful, and made fresh in-house. The wait is a little longer than usual, but it’s definitely worth it!
The staff was super friendly and even offered us fresh, warm cornbread, which was a delightful touch. Their homemade lemonade? Absolutely refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal.
If you’re in Atlantic City and craving halal food, don’t miss this spot! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I did doordash abd ordered salmon with mac&cheese and string beans with a side of corn bread. The seasoning was perfection, everything cooked so well. Absolutely delicious. Definitely will be ordering again. Let me tell you the cornbread was a treat, soooooooo yum

I was just there leaving to come back home and ordered a big order to only get all the way home to see that some of the food I ordered was not in my bags, especially the Mac/cheese!! Then you can’t call to tell you about it cause you have a answering service playing and can’t contact to you at all- very upset, like I paid for a extra side and all - over $130 in food to not have all of it!!

Okay, okay, I have not even eaten the food yet, but I don't need to taste it to tell you we have 5 ⭐️ immediately walking in. It is a positive atmosphere, the customers and staff greeting us, interacting with the kiddo, and accepting her to just come and sit with them. The aroma is amazing. But, mostly, it is a wonderful experience to walk in and be able to order southern soul food, and no one has to be hesitant or concerned about cross contamination with pork. We ordered the ribs, but because they weren't thrown in a microwave and handed to customers (this is a positive), they weren't ready, and it was going to be a while. They had the smoked brisket, and that is what we opted for as an alternative. The only thing is that once we had already left. We realized there may have been a price difference we didn't acknowledge when the change was made. We also got the fried fish lunch special. The gratitude I have for being able to order amazing food and have zero concern is priceless. Let's not forget that they had sweet potato pie 😋. I am so excited to get back to the hotel room and eat the food.

I had I hopes of this place especially with a 4.3 star review..PLEASE don’t believe it the food is trash. I was very disappointed! The whiting fish was overcooked and no seasoning, chicken wings was big like they were injected with something. Never ever again.

We got the brisket, jerk chicken, and the fish. Everything, including the sides, was delicious! The portions were also massive.

Habeebi’s is amazing! I had breakfast there and it was absolutely fantastic — fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. I’m already planning to come back for lunch to try their shrimp, fried fish, and white rice. If the breakfast is any indication, I know lunch will be just as incredible. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves delicious, authentic food!

Absolutely delicious! I had the fish with white rice, hand-cut fries, and a beef shawarma sandwich — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fish was tender and well-seasoned, the rice was fluffy, and the fries were crispy and homemade. The beef shawarma was packed with flavor and wrapped just right. The service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend this place —
I’ll definitely be coming back
