USED to be good. Quality has went downhill and prices are ABSURD. $6 for cream cheese bagel and $9 for a breakfast sandwich. Someone needs to open another bagel place on this side of the city so they can stop gouging. All the regulars stopped going and it’s just a tourist spot now. If you don’t mind paying 30% what you should for average quality this is your spot.

Good bagels and coffee. The service is fast and the staff is polite. All breakfast sandwiches are made to order. I will definitely come back here whenever I’m in Atlantic City.

The bagels here are really good. Definitely worth visiting and the board walk down
The street from it is nice to just sit and enjoy your breakfast with a view.

I’m so happy this place has gluten free bagels. They aren’t even that much extra either. As someone who loves breakfest sandwiches, i’m so happy and grateful that m they have something i’m able to eat. The service is great too. :)

I'm obsessed with this quaint breakfast spot! It's my go-to for a delicious, no-frills morning meal that never disappoints. The bagel sandwiches are a game-changer - I've tried countless combinations, and each one is a flavorful masterpiece. But what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff is consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, making every visit feel like a welcoming experience. I love experimenting with their menu, and my latest discovery is the incredible LOX Sandwich. I devoured it so quickly, I didn't even have a chance to snap a photo before it was gone! If you're looking for a reliable breakfast joint with amazing eats and top-notch service, look no further.

A 20-40 min wait at peak hours - and unequivocally worth every minute.

Hot Bagels serves the kind of bagel that justifies legend: crisp exterior, warm and tender within, with depth of flavor only achieved through mastery. In a city of fleeting thrills, this is an Atlantic City essential.

This place was amazing years ago. We are back in the area and ordered breakfast for 4 and spent almost 60 bucks and none of it was edible. I cant even imagine how a great spot fell off so badly. Eggs were rubber and I bit into eggshell. Everything was just low quality and tasted terrible. No seasoning on potatoes?!? Like who does that?? Gross. Wont ever be back.

I have no idea how this place has positive reviews. I’ve been here twice, only because of proximity, and both times felt like stepping into the Twilight Zone.
This year, I promised myself I’d be more authentic with my reviews. And I am exhausted—exhausted from handing over money, tipping before I even get my food (because you literally can’t check out online without tipping first), only to receive absolute garbage—both in service and in food.

Strike One: The Bacon, Egg & Cheese Debacle

The most basic bagel order of all time:
🥯 Bacon, egg, and cheese with salt, pepper, ketchup.
I rush to pick it up, get back to my office, unwrap it, and..nothing. Just a dry, sad, plain sandwich. No salt. No pepper. No ketchup. And unless I’ve started stockpiling ketchup packets at my desk, my options were:
1.Eat it dry like a fool.
2.Wait until I got home to fix it.
And guess what? That was just the food. The service? Somehow worse.

Every single worker in here-especially the women act like they’re too busy and important to deal with customers. (As if customers aren’t literally the reason the place exists.)

I’ve lived in Seaside Heights, so trust me, I know bad service. I don’t need people to roll out the red carpet for me. I just need them to do their jobs.

Strike Two: The $18 “Breakfast” That Almost Broke My Tooth

Against my better judgment, I gave this place another shot. (Huge mistake.)

I ordered:
✅ Egg bagel with cream cheese (figured toasted was implied—wrong).
✅ Side of bacon.
✅ A cup of their tragic coffee.

💰 Total? $18.23 (including the forced tip).

I get in my car, excited to take a bite… and the bagel is ICE COLD.
Not toasted. Not even pretending to be warm.

And the cream cheese? Tasted like refrigerator air. If you don’t know what that tastes like, consider yourself blessed.

Desperate to save my breakfast, I put the whole bagel (still in its wrapper) into my office toaster oven.

🔥 It . caught. on . fire. 🔥

Because these geniuses wrap their bagels in actual PAPER. Not parchment paper. Just… paper.

Strike Three: The Coffee is a Literal Scam

☕ $3.25 for plain black coffee—undrinkable.

And for milk options?
❌ Not regular milk.
❌ Not oat milk.
❌ Not almond milk.
✅ Just off-brand creamer with those sketchy little pumps that barely work. (It’s 2025. What are we doing here?)

For $3.25, I should at least have the illusion of choice.

Final Verdict: Don’t Spend a Dollar Here.

This place is overpriced, overrated, and aggressively bad.

The service is rude. The food is trash. And no one should feel this much regret over a freaking bagel.

I will actively tell people to avoid this place until they fix their attitude, their pricing, and their basic ability to make a bagel and underrated sandwiches.

⭐ 1 star. Not changing it. Ever.

Go to The Daily Grind instead. At least they know what they’re doing.

Parking: Parking is on a one way and you can easily miss their building. Keep your eyes open

Don’t recommend the Northfield location. Don’t listen to customers. Mess up orders. Don’t give what customers what paid for then try to place them on customers for their own mistakes! Have messed up orders MULTIPLE times! Would rather take the extra drive to Manhattan Bagel in Mays Landing! ✌🏼

I will NEVER return to the Northfield, NJ location! I ordered over the phone (with a female) Egg & CHEDDAR cheese on a plain toasted bagel. I arrive, pick it up, go to my car and get ready to eat it. I see there’s white cheese, which I don’t like. I go back in and let the cashier know (female). She tells the cook. I hear her ask him if I said cheddar cheese, he mumbles something, and she said “No?” I correct both of them and let them know that I did say cheddar cheese, I’m always very specific. Mind you I don’t understand why she’s asking him because I’m assuming SHE’S the one who took the order since she was the only female in there at the time. They give me a sandwich and I leave. As I’m driving I open the sandwich and realize instead of making a new sandwich like I ordered it they gave me the same sandwich back just added cold cheddar slices to it, not melted and leaving the white cheese behind. I don’t like the flavor of white cheese! I had to scrape it off with a napkin, but could still taste it. I wanted to turn back and get my money back but I was running late to an appointment! The time before this the cheddar cheese was not me,Ted with but decided to give them another chance…. Big mistake! 2 strikes, not going for a third. Absolutely, lazy and disgraceful. Will NEVER go back there again. I may never go back to any of the Hot Bagels and More if these are the type of employees they have! PS: I ALWAYS order the exact same thing, I know they have my orders on record because I once called to order, gave my phone number and the girl TOLD ME what I wanted based on my past orders so I know they know what I liked. I’ll just drive out to Mays Landing to Manhattan Bagel.
