We have always had a great experience each time we have visited both locations, however this past weekend (Oct 4th 2025) it was terrible..the wait wasn't too bad, but once we were seated we were told that breakfast was over & that the kitchen was backed up..it took 20 additional minutes for the server to even to acknowledge our table, after the older gentleman went to say something to her..we reluctantly ordered lunch, we waited another 30 minutes & the salad, wings & corn bread never came out so we left..so disappointed 😞..we have been coming to both locations for years & always had great service, food was outstanding, along with the entertainment..this was so very disappointing. When ever we are there from the DMV, we will still come back, because you have never failed us - until this time, just thought I would share. Thank you

Absolutely loved everything about this establishment. The food was delicious, the workers are very pleasant and the vibe was great. I give this place a 10/10 chefs kiss!!!

Went in for breakfast. Party of 2. Seated immediately. Server walked by several times without acknowledging us. Waited 30 minutes before leaving.

Everything was Amazing people,food, Atmosphere I ordered the Catfish and Shrimp combo with collards and Mac and everything was so Flavorful Chef Black put his foot in it and our Service was 1000000/ 10 Yisel has such a beautiful Soul and made our experience worth coming back shes very polite and made us feel very welcomed plus the food Thank you Kelsey and Kim’s God Bless yall

Breakfast time and looking for fish and grits. I got salmon cakes and grits and it's delicious. My server Yisel is professional and beautiful. Chef Rodney is excellent.
The price is reasonable and the restaurant is clean with nice music playing. They had many other dishes too. Yesterday I had eggs, sausage, hash browns with onions and peppers and it's was delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant

Yodel was phenomenal ! The food by Rodney was fabulous! We had eaten here last time we were in AC and couldn’t stop thinking about our amazing meal and knew this was our first stop! Truly delightful in every way💗

This restaurant completely wasted our time during our vacation. The place was empty when we arrived, so we expected prompt service, but after placing our order we waited more than 30 minutes and no food ever came out. On top of that, the background “music” was just odd spoken word audio that made the atmosphere uncomfortable. After half an hour of waiting with nothing served, we gave up and left. It was frustrating to lose that time on our trip, and we will not be returning.

Big shout out to Chef Rodney and Server Ms Yisel, you both get 10 stars in both cuisine and customer service. You have a famous breakfast menu that you should be served all day.
