This was the first time coming to Atlantic City and we went to this place because everyone recommended it. The food was sooo good. I will say that I wasn't crazy about the mac but the catfish nuggets, yams, pork ribs and greens were off the chain. Even the black-eyed peas were really good and i don't even like them. The only thing i didn't like was the peach cobbler, the drinks that were weak and the gratuity that is automatically 20% when the bill is over $100 which is not hard since they also don't split the bill. But they did take our credit cards but we had to do the math ourselves including splitting this 20% gratuity. Also the fried food is much better in the restaurant, not so great reheated. Live music and the servers were great!!

First time here. Food and vibe was amazing. Dominque was our waitress. She did a great job providing us with recommendations. I will definitely revisit this place! Thank you Dominque for making sure our first experience was a great one.

The steak was cooked exactly as I had ordered it and the sauteed spinach underneath was tender and flavorful. Luckily, we were able to be seated immediately!--Would definitely recommend.. My partner ordered the stamppot which I somehow totally missed a photo of, but maybe because it was so delicious, The interior is so warm and inviting

I have been trying for 2 WEEKS to get someone to return my call. I wanted to secure a reservation for 6 12/13/24 for my father's 90th birthday but I had a few questions. What nights do they have live entertainment? What time does the entertainment start? I wanted my dad to have a nice experience but not returning calls or emails isn't a good look. NOW THERE’S NO TIME SLOTA LEFT FOR DINNER AT 630 PM. It's a shame because this restaurant came highly recommended!!

We drove from central jersey, just trying a new place to find out the portions were small,didn’t get to take a pic of my father in law catfish, now wt was absurd was paying gratuity for a take out . As for me the food wasn’t worth the drive .

Ribs Were A Bit Tough, However They Made Up For Things By Replacing The Entire Meal With Another Option On The Menu, Another Person In Our Party Had The Same Issue With The Ribs And Got The Same Result. Everything Else Was Fantastic, The Catfish Nuggets Are Great 💚

Took me and my mother out for our first time going to Kelsey I had the cabbage catfish and cornbread. The cabbage and the cornbread was too sweet like they put a pound of sugar on it. My mother had pork ribs potato salad and cabbage. Again the cabbage was not fresh at all and too sweet the ribs was sweet had to put hot sauce on it just to take the sweetness away and the potato salad was too sweet and the potatoes was hard. The only thing came out of this was the band Barbra was singing and my mother enjoyed herself listening to the band but on our way home we had to stop at a store to get more water my mother sugar levels Spike up so bad pre Diabetic !!!!!! I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE THATS DIABETIC TO EAT FROM THERE !!!!!!!!!🤯😡the cornbread was a pound sugar cake. We came around 9 pm last night we didn’t wanna make a scene bc we was in the front of the band we didn’t bother to eat it all thank God for the band that distracted us from complaining. I read other reviews after the fact and also read about how sweet and undercooked the sides are please take inconsideration to read these reviews

Food was DELICIOUS, very well seasoned, came out fast and hot. The liquor was tasty and strong. Everyone there is so nice and you can take a picture and have it framed for $20, I will be back!

This was my first time here but will not be my last time. Baby the food was on point the drinks were popping the music was flowing! We came for brunch before heading back home from weekend stay on AC. The brunch was $46 per person but it was worth every bit off the cost. You have a choice of breakfast food, made to cook eggs/omelette and then you can transition right to lunch if your belly has room 😆

Parking: Street parking around the restaurant. But need to get there early for the good spots.
