Had great expectations for this restaurant due to all the hype, sorry to say I was completely let down after eating here. They were out of mash potatoes, really how how do you run out of mashed potatoes? No crab mac and cheese, and no chicken gumbo. I ordered the catfish nuggets appetizer, they were so salty I couldn't even eat them. The smothered porkchops were just as salty and the coating was just so thick. The collard greens were sugary sweet just like the too sweet iced tea. I so wanted for the food to live up to all the hype but sadly it didn't. Probably won't visit again and I sure won't recommend it. KELSEY'S please do better.

Loved the food and the service was expeditiously fast! The reason I am giving the atmosphere 3 stars is because the live music was amazing I just wish I could’ve vibed out and relax after I had eaten, just sip a drink and watch the live music show. But their policy states you can only stay for 90 mins so it makes you feel somewhat rushed. I do understand it gets busy and they have to accommodate everyone and make their money but it can make you feel rushed out.Parking: Parking is very hard to find on the weekend

It was a good place to get Southern food. The wait is worth it and the service is great. Our waitress had a smile on her face no matter what she was doing and she checked on us often to make sure we were okay or to see if we needed any thing. Look forward to going back
My husband and I was here 4 years ago and we didn't like itWe came back on May 1, 2024 and baybeeee , when I tell you they stepped the food game up. Everything we ordered was soooo good. Just delectable. Our waitress was so sweet and wonderful to talk to. Her name is Auddy and the manager Michelle was a delight as well. We had short ribs mac and cheese greens fried fish, and baybeeee those sweet potatoes are to die for . EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!!

First time here. The place is beautiful. Wait staff are okay. We had Brandon a nice young man. Not sure if they had Salmon or Short Ribs. Well no short ribs. Menu is limited so it is the same old soul food to choose from. This place came HIGHLY RECOMMEND. So far I'm impressed with the portions. M&C was outstanding the CY was just like my mother in law used to make. I had to settle on pork ribs I really wanted Short Ribs however these ribs are huge.
Everything was perfect except for our waitress Michelle . Me and my sister was really looking forward to returning here and Michelle treated my cousins with better service . She held our drinks back while she gave my cousins theirs , she gave us small glasses and had the nerve to basically tell me i had enough soda when the glass she gave me only held two sips of water . Then the mimosas came in small glasses as well . Now mind you im bringing up the glass sizes because we sat at the bar and watch her pour the drinks and we seen the difference ! Everyone down to the guy at the breakfast station was excellent though but i know off that alone & we tipped her … thats the last time because we waited an hour in a half to be treated poorly ! Not a big fan anymore !

My family and I went today and let me just say we enjoyed ourselves from the waitress Tanisha being very kind to our food coming right out. We had very little wait time and the food was delicious. I will be returning again to try some more of their delicious entrees because one evening wasn’t enough. Thanks for a wonderful experience❤️Kid-friendliness: My 2 year grandson enjoyed it and he was very excited about the live band more so the gentlemen on the drums.
Suggestion!!!! At less add to you voicemail or HOUSE RULES that there’s no takeouts….. We just drove 30 mins to be told there’s no takeout. I would have never wasted my time. 4/18/24
