They have the most freshest tuna you will ever find in any sushi 🍣 resturant. Also have the best tasting salads đŸ„— which can only be ordered at thier restaurant.

We had an absolutely AMAZING time. From the beginning to the very end everything was perfect. Tommy was our server. He was cheerful, energetic and was very attentive. The manager, Sam, came over and made sure everything was to our liking, which of course it was. The sushi chef, Desmond, sent out an amazing variety of things to try. Everything was beautiful. The attention to detail, the atmosphere. All of it made a memorable dining experience. We cant wait to come back! Thank you Tommy!

Didn't even get to try the food because it took over 45 minutes before we left. Barely managed to get a 2nd beer while waiting and was 20 minutes before we even had a drink while waiting. Nothing more insulting than sitting there with an empty table and no drinks watching the waitress serve the table next to you and talking to them for 5 minutes. Specifically came to this restaurant staying at another hotel. Immediately walked across to council oak and had amazing service. The only place I've had a worse experience was an Eddie merlots in Chicago and at least they gave me food to dislike there. Easily avoid unless you are a group of 6+ because otherwise you will not get any service

I’m not giving this place one star because, to be fair, the food wasn’t terrible—it didn’t deserve a death sentence. But the service? Absolutely horrendous. The only person who seemed to be working hard was the one clearing plates.

Our assigned server was shockingly inattentive. I genuinely started wondering if there was a hint of racial bias involved—he spent the entire time chatting with one particular table and completely ignored not only us but also the table right next to ours.

We ordered sushi and somehow got sashimi instead. I tried flagging someone down for what felt like ages—waving, making eye contact, everything—yet no one acknowledged us. No one, that is, except for the busser. We ended up carrying the wrong order ourselves to the kitchen to get it corrected.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, the chatty table finally left
and so did our server. He literally disappeared into the back and never came back. Again, it was the amazing plate-clearer who helped us find him.

So thank you, kind busser—you were the only one doing your job. As for the rest? Do better.

1. Every dish is just below or on average
2. We ordered wagyu lollipop at the beginning, it took over 1 hour and 2 reminders to get it on table. The server looks pretty skeptical about if we got it or not. Not respectful!
3. The server obviously took a closer look at the tips in front of us. We gave 18% anw.

Overall, pretty bad experience and way overpriced.

We waited over an hour for sushi rolls on a half-empty Wednesday night. No drinks, just water, and we were stuck there for over 90 minutes.

They split individual people’s orders across multiple checks instead of keeping them together as requested. Completely disorganized.

The delay ruined our night. We won’t be back. The kitchen deserves better front-of-house support.

Food was great. Wait was way too long. Threw off the whole night plan with the band playing. Waited at least an hour for sushi rolls. Ridiculous. We couldn’t split the check the way we wanted into individual orders. We will not be going back. And it’s delicious food so it’s a shame. Also it’s a Wednesday. Half the restaurant was empty. We did not even order drinks, just water because we didn’t want it to take even longer. We were in there 1.5+ hrs.

Tried a large portion of the menu at Kuro and everything was a 10/10 — flavor, presentation, and service were all top-tier. Every dish felt carefully crafted and exceeded expectations. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my lifetime. Highly recommend!

Have been here twice in the past few years. The first time was great. Unfortunately my two friends and I went this weekend on Friday night and we all got food poisoning.

We had an incredible dinner at Kuro inside the Hard Rock in Atlantic City. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We sat at the sushi bar, which I highly recommend—watching the chefs work added so much to the experience.

Our server, Eric, was amazing—friendly, professional, and gave excellent recommendations. He made us feel truly taken care of.

The Lobster Dumplings were absolutely phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. One of the best dishes I've ever had.

To top it off, the sushi chef surprised us with a special, off-menu bite: crispy rice topped with tenderloin. It was a perfect mix of texture and flavor—crunchy, savory, and unforgettable.

Kuro is a must-visit spot in Atlantic City. Incredible food, top-tier service, and a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

This was our second time here. We are very impressed. The service was good and the food was great. We ordered the Wagyu tacos, which are a must. They are small, but they are definitely worth it. The Seabass was the best Seabass I’ve ever had. My husband, love the mushroom and rice with an egg on top. He said it was great. The beef skewers were also very good as well. The only thing that we weren’t too much of a fan of was the chicken appetizer, the chicken was a weird texture. Lastly, the chicken dumplings and the sushi were very good as well

I have dined at Kuro 3 times now, each time Katrina has been my server and is always phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and attention to detail is incredible. She is definitely one of the best assets they have. I highly recommend visiting and asking for Katrina when you get there you won’t be disappointed
