I have dined at Kuro 3 times now, each time Katrina has been my server and is always phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and attention to detail is incredible. She is definitely one of the best assets they have. I highly recommend visiting and asking for Katrina when you get there you won’t be disappointed
Great design restaurant, chill vibe , great food 🍱🥰
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday, and I have to say I had the best experience. Katrina was our server, and she went above and beyond all expectations. She was kind, funny, charismatic and just an overall joy. The sushi was incredible, the crispy tuna was almost to die for, and the drinks were.... amazing. Like wow, my least favorite thing is when a high end restaurant tries to label something that tastes like rubbing alcohol as liquor, this place... does the exact opposite. The peach orange blossom, was really killer. The open style of the kitchen was really awesome too. I cancelled my dinner reservations for next week at another restaurant and plan on coming back here! Thank you Kuro!
The food here is excellent. Sushi is very fresh, and the cooked foods are all great. We got the Thursday Tasting Menu, and everything was perfect.
Service was great. Our server was super attentive and took great care of us - even brought out chopstick helpers for the kids.
Atmosphere was great. We're are the Hard Rock fairly often, and I think this is the nicest restaurant at the casino.
Looking forward to trying their omakase experience on our next trip!
One of our favorite spots in an AC casino. Everything is delicious!
My wife and I visited Kuro for the first time. We ordered the fish dish, and it was the best I've ever had. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the chef. The server who supported us was truly professional, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal and the atmosphere. Without her, we wouldn't have experienced this joy. Lastly, the salad was so fresh and had a great texture that we enjoyed every last bite. We will definitely be returning to Kuro.
Kuro is a great Japanese restaurant that use locally sourced and imported ingredients directly from Japan. On this visit they had a special promotion that showcased the sights and flavors of Japan’s Cherry Blossom Festival, so my fiancé and I had to order a few items from their limited-time menu. I highly recommend the Salmon Zuke, suggested by our server Lauren. It was rich and melted in your mouth. Kuro’s menu was reminiscent of the dishes served at Borgata Hotel’s Izakaya, making it a great alternative.
Walked in at peak dinner time with no reservation, they were able to sit us at the bar. Usually not my favorite. But the bartender Alex, and his team, were AWESOME. took the time to review and give opinions on the menu while slinging drinks. Exceptional service. Now let's talk about the food. The wagyu ribeye on first thought, was top 3 steak I've ever had. But the more I think about it, I'm not sure I've had better. It's that good. Then the lamb kare...absolutely amazing. The pork belly app was the only thing I wasn't crazy about, little chewy, but had great flavor. Overall, this is an absolute must. I live 3 hours away and it was my determining factor in whether I come back to ac or not.
Very nice environment with modern Japanese Fair. Came here with the family for a night I’ll never forget. It was amazing like OMG.
The food was just ok to be honest. I sampled pretty much every single appetizer. My favorite was the salmon bowl. I was not a fan of the crispy rice cake as it was not crisp but very soggy. The bottom was crispy but almost like the kitchen pre sears them. I was hopping that this would be my replacement for itzakaya closing but sadly it’s not. Joshua the server was very nice but also very slow.

Food was very good. The restaurant is decorated very nice. Service was very good.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Amazing meal. Everything was very fresh. Excellent service and fantastic ambiance. Similar food quality to options in Miami and New York. Look no further.

Hidden gem sushi place in the Hard rock hotel. Sushi was fresh, very happy with the quality of uni as well. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed the experience watching them cook. They have a great team behind the counter for sure!
