Chimichanga came out half cooked, rf beans cold. Sent back & returned to me still cold. Waitress never checked on us. Maitre'D was apologetic. "Plate was hot" he claimed bewildered. Drinks overfilled with ice. Minimal small plate of chips given. Wife had shrimp dish which was good. Surprisingly poor experience
Mexico Restaurant serves a wide variety of authentic Mexican food in a festive atmosphere. Great Magaritas, friendly wait staff, and an all around inviting experience.
We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner before seeing a show in AC. The food was excellent. Best fajitas and enchiladas I've ever had. We all loved our meals!
Family owned and operated Mexican restaurant in the Lower Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City. The bar is equipped with television for sports watching and many brands and grades of tequila, including Clase Azul Reposado tequila at a very reasonable price. The main dining area is beautifully decorated and intimate. Many varieties of margaritas, with El Jefe as my favorite! Many classic Mexican dishes available. I recommend the Enchiladas Suizas or Pollo Acapulco. The service is always prompt and attentive and professional. Don't forget the Flan! Sign up for their rewards program for savings on your next visit. Pay with a debit card or cash to avoid a credit card service fee! I highly recommend! Best Mexican food in AC!
Everything was great and it is why we continue to go back. Looking forward to our next meal there!
We enjoyed dinner the other night. Loved the queso with chorizo.

We tried you guys for the first time tonight for Restaurant Week. The food and service were excellent. I've tried alot of tamales, but your chicken tamale is the best I've had. Mexico is a hidden gem in AC! Can't wait to come back and try more things!
We tried Mexico for the first time for Restaurant Week. Food and service were excellent. The chicken tamale was the best one I've found so far and I've tried a lot of tamales over the years. This place is a hidden gem in AC and we will definitely be back to try more things!
Always excellent food.
Had mole enchiladas, guacamole, lemon shots, fried ice cream. They never disappoint! Oh and the bar has this cool wireless charging pad built into for your phone. Pretty neat!

We found this hidden gem during a weekend in Atlantic City. The food was delicious and authentic, and the sangria was spectacular!

Everything was good except the guacamole, which not only tasted very diluted, but the portion was extremely small, especially for $13

Sick diarrea food.
We have been going to Mexico off and on for years. We thought the restaurant was acceptable Mexican food, but not outstanding, when we began going there a few years ago. Then, the restaurant lost access to its free parking lot a couple of doors away, so we just stopped going. Friends of ours suggested trying it again, because the Happy Hour looked like a very good deal. We went for dinner and it was excellent! Many choices of entrees and huge portions at reasonable prices. Both the food and drinks were delicious! After that, we went for Happy Hour. The Happy Hour runs for FOUR HOURS, 3 to 7 PM, every day except Saturday. The prices are VERY reasonable and the food portions are generous, considering the price! The wait staff is wonderful! Parking is still an issue. Metered street parking is available on Ventnor Ave. and the restaurant recommends parking in the parking garage at the Stockton University Public Parking Garage, which is about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. Be aware, there is a fee for using a credit card, however NO FEE for using a debit card. In addition, you can earn rewards by providing your phone number. The rewards accumulate rather quickly and are automatically deducted from your bill on the next visit after earning them, as long as you use the same payment method as when you signed up for the rewards program. I definitely recommend!
