Came to AC for the first time . Saw this place on tiktoc and decided to give it a try. Everything was good up until there was a misunderstanding with dining in because there was no seating. It wasn’t made clear that once we ask to order out we couldn’t sit and again that wasn’t made clear. Once some tables were cleared we decided to sit down after stating we wanted to eat in because there was availability. The girl who rang us out told the owner I believe he was and he didn’t hide that he was annoyed and was super loud about how he felt with us sitting there after we stated we would take to go because there wasn’t seating and again ( we weren’t told after we take out we can’t sit down) the whole
Time there I felt super uncomfortable. The owner kept making comments about his rules. Let’s also point out everyone who walked in that he knew he gave them such great service. But shouldn’t you be that way with anyone who walks through those doors? My experience was awful and I will never come to this place again! All for a small understanding. I wish my experience was different.
I will say the young girl ringing us out was super nice ever through it all. I’m

I visited Mike B"s in Atlantic City, looking for a quick breakfast spot., I decided to try it out. It's a small place with limited seating, maybe accommodating around 12/14 people, but most of the locals seemed to opt for takeout. The food was good and it comes to you hot, and the hostess/cashier was accommodating, which made the experience pleasant.
However, the owner/cook, Mike, was quite rude to the staff, even using profanity. It was clear that many of the people there were either related to him or familiar with him, and while he may be a good person, his treatment of the team was offputting. It left me feeling uncomfortable, but I decided to stay.
Ultimately, I'm glad I did, as the food was delicious. Mike B is a Black-owned business, and I hope the owner takes the feedback into account for growth. The food was great, but the atmosphere could definitely be improved with a little more respect for the staff.

I went here because I heard about this place on tictoc I was in town for a show , first I ordered a fish platter that came with fish eggs and toast , the fish was frozen whitening not fresh , it was greasy and if you gonna have a fish platter it should have at least cane with two peaces of fish I got one and look like they broke one peace off and gave it to me...the second thing I didn't like she ask did I want butter and jelly for my toast ..I said yes...she comes back with it already buttered and had the jelly on it for me ,, which I think u should let the customers do that , the place was just very ghetto I ask for creamer she brings the whole bottle of creamer like I'm at home ...I didn't eat my food I threw it away , and think people hype this place up that live there because it's really no other places to eat around that area...

The owner / cook had an attitude which made me ask for my money back first he was made because I asked for a receipt I guess he was overwhelmed because he had no help and had a little to much work for him then he not only touched everything from raw hamburger to bread eggs the fridge door with the same gloves but never not once tried to change them. Then for my order I asked for a beef bacon egg an ch with one egg ex ch and ex bacon by the time it was for him to make the sandwich he said this is too much bacon for one egg she's just trying to be difficult so I said you know what I dont want to be difficult with my food how I want it just give me my money back. I would never go back there nor send anyone there

Very friendly and easy access to this local eatery... We were welcomed from the moment we walked in. Food is to go style but we stayed and ate there at one of a few tables available for guests. A lot of togo orders came in and went. We decided to stay and eat. The food was good. Prepared on a griddle so everything is cooked on the same cook top... Caution if you have food allergies. I had an omelet which was a little too salty for my liking and tasted a little like everything else that was cooked on the griddle already. I'll bet they would cook it in a fry pan if you asked for it that way. Anyway, good enough for me.

I got a refund. They guy behind the counter was a real clown. Sorry to have to say that but he was. He complained about me asking him to change his gloves. Who does that? Handling seafood and dirty containers and wants to change one glove and handle my food with one clean glove. They should've out of business very very soon. I got a refund

This was me and my sister's first time visiting Mike B's Cafe which was recommended by Chad who we just met while he was at work (not telling you where he works, ha-ha). This is a no frill small establishment. The breakfast was good (home fries, sausage patties, 2 eggs, toast and I had a cup of coffee. I enjoyed my meal and then decided to order an Italian hoagie for later (lunch) $8.99. And WOW, when lunch time came, I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks Chad for recommending and Mike B's Cafe for serving delicious meals!

Mike's is a very quaint and cozy spot. The food is home-cooked to order and tastes like it's made in the kitchen at home, not a commercial kitchen for a large crowd. Because it's a small but popular spot, service can be slow, but it's worth the wait if you have time. You must be patient; one person is serving, taking orders, and cashing people out. Small seating (Accommodates 12 total) area not designed for large parties, it's best for take out. Don't be discouraged, manage your expectations, the FOOD IS GOOD!

We have been coming to AC for 10 years! And just found this laid back, home cooking spot to eat. The shrimp and grits, the chicken and waffles. The atmosphere, and the friendly, smiling staff was amazing! Don't over look them!
