We stumbled upon Mukashi while waiting for a 9:30 PM show, and I’m so glad we gave it a try! We were so hungry we didn’t even wait to take photos of the food, but let me tell you—the sushi rolls were far better than I expected. They were absolutely exquisite, as were the homemade almond cookies we bought to-go. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

I ordered my food to go. The Manager, Ms. Yawen was so pleasant, informative and kind as she took my order personally, and making me aware of the 18% forced gratuity that I had to pay, albeit being a take out order which I did not get table service for, thus, was unnecessary. She explained that the Union representing the workers and the owners had agreed on the deal of forcibly charging this gratuity which is totally unfounded and unacceptable in my eyes. Good value for money but not amazing in anyway. Food looks better than it tastes and service ok. Might go back but but only because it offe3rs good value for money rather than great food.
