Seriously? Open Table is so automated that it doesn't recognize that hast night was the end. Closed for whatever reason after 28 years. It was a good meal that was very sad. Many memories of people who had been there with me. Special occasions. Staff smiling. Some to be out of work. Some retiring. Some moving on. Thanks Nero's for a lot of years.

They are now permanently closed. How very sad. Loss of a classic. Excellent food and service, live piano music, outstanding view. No more. Bad move Caesars. Nero's will be missed!!!

We started with the crab cake appetizer. Excellent flavor and full of crabmeat as opposed to breadcrumb filler. Next came the chopped salad, a good mix of veggies with a flavorful dressing. For an rntree, it was Nero's always wonderful lamb chops, done medium and full of flavor. We ended with cappucino and the lemoncello pudding cake, a refresing ending served with a lemon sorbet. Nero's is one of our favorite restaurants; it never disappoints.

One of Atlantic City’s all-time greatest restaurants – the legendary Nero’s Italian Steakhouse at Caesars Atlantic City – will close after nearly three decades when the staff celebrates four more dinner services Thursday to Sunday. The iconic restaurant helmed by General Manager Betty McHugh and Chef Maurizio Di Marco was like a second home for me and many others who celebrated special occasions there, enjoyed its lavish brunch that was discontinued during COVID and felt like part of the family whenever we walked in there. McHugh and many others who work at Nero’s have been there since it opened 28 years ago. The food was always exceptional, and the service was extraordinary. Its departure will leave the stellar Capriccio at Resorts Casino Hotel as the only true old-school casino dining experience left in the city as casinos make room for celebrity chefs and name brands. Many of Nero’s staff will work at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub, Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen that will debut in the next couple weeks and the Japanese restaurant Nobu that will debut in October. No matter where they end up, any restaurant is lucky to have them, and we are all lucky to be served by them. Di Marco will head to the Pub, where he will be room chef. As far as McHugh, she is uncertain what her future holds, but I know she will bring the same passion for the business and love for her customers wherever she lands. She is one of a kind. Nero’s will be missed but will never be forgotten

Nero Italian steak house was our favorite restaurant. My husband and I went to celebrate my husband birthday to find out that they are closing next week after 25 years. Very disappointed. Great food, nice ambiance and beautiful view overlooking the Atlantic city boardwalk and ocean.

The food was excellent, from the lobster bisque to the salmon. The other two diners had the chicken parmigiana and the pasta bolognese. We shared the chocolate lava cake for desert. Everything, and I mean everything, was very tasty. Joseph was our server and he was funny, engaging and a joy. We were saddened to hear that the restaurant would be closing and would be replaced by something else. It was a first visit for all 3 of us.

Closing Neros is a disasterous decision by Caesars [El Dorado] management. What are they thinking? It appears that anything the previous company made available to the customers they feel must be changed!

Requested a table near the window but was not given even the restaurant was almost empty. Lobster bisque was cold. Serving station was right behind me and the clinking of silverware and chatting of servers was destructing.

Hi had surf and turf while my dining partner had the chicken Parmesan special. Both my file mignon and broiled lobster tail were perfectly cooked. My dining partner told me that the chicken Parm was the best they have ever had dessert was it also perfect and service wise as usual flawless

The food was very good, and it came nice and hot. The portions were a good size too. The service was excellent very attentive. For dessert I asked the server if they had Tiramisu even though it was not on the menu. To my delight, they did. It was delicious and very light and not too sweet. It is a shame that Nero's will be closed for good in September 27. Very good Italian food. Caesars is bringing in 2 New restaurants - Gordon Ramsey's - Hell's Kitchen and Nobu.

Another superlative meal at Nero‘s both my fillet and lobster tail I'm a part of my servant her we're perfectly prepared. I don't my diamond companion said that the chicken Parmesan time is it was the best teacher ever eaten and he proceeded to reinforce this comment by consuming the entire meal in record time so I think he enjoyed it!

Very disappointed to hear Nero's is closing. Never had a bad experience and the cook was the best. Always crowded and never heard a bad word about anything related to Nero's of AC. The question is why would it close.

We went to Nero's for family dinner. The service there was very personal, I felt like a special guest. Everyone works so cohesive and they even remembered our names. The food was delicious! I want to come back there and try everything on the menu! Highly recommend Nero's!

Head Chef Maurizio and the wait staff were excellent. The ladies at the hostess stand, one being the manager aren't the warmest ...especially to have the task of welcoming guests. If you can push past this, you will definitely have a lovely time.
