Very good. Our waitress Giselle was great would come back again
Great atmosphere, apps, everything we have is always great. The rib appetizer is great and the best shrimp pad thai I have had. Wish they were open more days.
For an overall excellent dining experience, I highly recommend Ossu. All the food is amazing, but my favorites were the Yakitori and the Ossu roll. Absolutely delicious. The service staff is very attentive, especially Roberto, who was my server. I could see the manager, Jim, in the dining room aiding his employees and personally making sure that all the guests were happy. It’s nice to see a manager working so hard to make sure everything is running smoothly. Needless to say, but I will be back!
Terrible, terrible customer service. My reservation was at 8:30pm at Tropicana Casino got there at 8:10. Upon arrival they wanted me to sit by the sushi bar with a two year old. Apparently no tables were available. Tried to explain it wasn’t practical for our 5 guests. Manager was called he was very condescending, don’t wanna play the race card but he might be racist. Offered me and my five guests to come back at 9pm LOL. Cancelled reservation obviously never again.
We went as a group of four-it was busy we sat at the bar. The bartender/ waitress was friendly suggesting several things on the menu that she felt were very good. We ordered a black bean clams appetizer that was a special for one or for two. They said it was new to their menu. We ordered it for two We also ordered a surf and turf with asparagus, onions with white rice. The couple we were with received their order promptly. They were enjoying their meal when our clams arrived. We questioned the bartender about the side of the dish she agreed the order was for one although we had ordered for two. They would bring us an additional order. our friends finished their dinner and we still had not recv’d our additional clams or our dinner. We had already asked twice if they could check on our food.16 minutes passed before the additional clams arrived- and then an additional 7 minutes before my dinner arrived. the server handed me the plate and I questioned her she said in a really rude tone blame it on the bartender/waitress it’s her fault- it’s two different kitchens. The plate was all over cooked.
Came here for dinner Friday night—the restaurant decor is cute, loved the ambiance! Service was great, our server Roberto was awesome.
Food was pretty good! For appetizers, we enjoyed the Chili Wontons, Gyoza, Miso Soup and Butabara Yakator. For main dish, the Galbi Ribs were delicious—well flavored, huge portion and the fries were delicious too! Sushi rolls were okay, we did not like the Ossu Roll much—the guacamole added on top made the overall taste weird. The Sushi & Sashimi platter was good. We were celebrating my birthday and they brought out ice cream mochi with a candle to celebrate, which was so sweet!
From the entrance to the ambiance to the service by our amazing waitress Giselle the food was great the service was amazing will def recommend and return! PS they were also very accommodating for the vegetarian guests in our party which is a big plus!
Don't sleep on ossu! Located off the casino floor, the vibe is cozy chic, service was friendly, and the food came out super quick! We had the pork dumplings, ossu roll, kajino roll, chashu buns, Mongolian beef, and shrimp pad thai. The Mongolian beef could have used a bit more flavor, but other than that, everything was absolutely delicious and on point. The sushi and chashu buns were my personal favorite! Would definitely come here again, looks like they have a good happy hour! Very impressed.
We went before closing on sunday and for $100 my wife and I had 2 entrees, app, bot of wine. Beef was great and roll was on spot. The endemame dumplings was a great change of pace. For Casino food this was outstanding.
Roberto was an absolute pleasure to have as our waiter

Beef Lo Mein was really really good!
Subpar food and service. We had to wait awhile for our food because no one noticed the ticket system wasn’t working. When it finally arrived, the sushi was no better than supermarket sushi. The food was overpriced for subpar offerings. I see many of the staff waiting or standing around- just disorganized.
Late dinner… so maybe that’s why food wasn’t fresh. Wouldn’t recommend sushi from here if you’ve had good fresh sushi before. Low tier super market vibe sushi. Gyoza and egg rolls were average, wings were lacking flavor. Server was friendly and attentive.

I paid extra for a private booth and was seated directly across from a table of 3 with a DOG. The dog was barking at times and was being fed by the people at the table. It laid on the floor staring at me and my family while we ate. Totally unacceptable, especially since I paid extra to sit at “exclusive seating “. If a restaurant has a policy of allowing dogs to sit in the dining area then it should be clearly posted and they shouldn't charge extra for special seating. Is it even legal to have a dog in a restaurant?
Overpriced! 4 slices of sushi for $33? It was fresh. The 4.7 star review brought me in the door. Sat at the very long bar. Atmosphere was seedy in my opinion. Also ordered the pork belly yakatori. Soon fatty and was not crispy. Sent it back for more grilling. 3 Small skewers. I left there hungry. Find some place else to spend your winnings. Oh, you lost in the casino? Definitely skip Ossu, you'll definitely feel like your on a loosing streak.
